Asus Desktop: My desktop monitor only shows a white screen

So as the title says, my main display monitor is showing a white screen, from the point of startup. Before this started happening, I started seeing a blue screen effect over my regular desktop. I have two monitors, my main one (which is the one with the problem) and a smaller one (that one works fine). You can see only a white screen on the big screen but on the smaller monitor you can see perfectly fine. I tested the big monitor with my PS4, and it works fine. What could be the issue? The monitor with the problem is connected through a VGA cable, and the smaller working monitor is hooked up with an HDMI. It really bothers me, because I have them setup as extended, so I can't really see what I'm doing. Please help.

Asus Desktop: How can I add more memory?

Asus Support site says to not open the cover, work should only be done by "licensed" technicians. Heck I'm A+ certified (I do networking though), even that yielded no info. Anyway is there a way to see ahead of time /pre-cover popping, what I can add as far as memory? I just want to make sure I buy the correct kind.

Asus Desktop: MAximus IX Hero PCH question

Does the PCH controll the flash bios USB slot? I ask because I have a maximus IX Hero that powers up but wont boot or do anything else for that matter. I successfully flashed the bios through the Flash Bios slot so I know that works at least. The CPU and PCH get warm but thats it. I ask because if the USB slot is controlled by the PCH then the PCH is probably ok.
