Battery: My power bank does not charge my phone?

I bought this Verbatim 10200mAh Black Power Bank a few months ago. It worked perfectly fine with my iPhone 5S and other android phones as well. Yesterday I lent it to my friend who had a Nokia Windows Phone. It was the first time my power bank charged a WP. Since then, my power bank went into the state where you can turn it on (LED indicator lights up) but it automatically turn itself off in a couple of seconds, regardless of whether my phone is plugged in to the power bank or not. Usually when the phone isn't plugged in, the light would stay on for pretty long but this time it turns itself off after like 2-3 seconds. I tried different phones (other than WP), different cables and tried to switch between the two ports on the power bank as well. Doesn't work. However, I can still charge the power bank by connecting it to a socket/computer. Any ideas? Help would be much appreciated as I don't really want to get a new power bank. Thanks a lot!

Battery: Anker PowerCore III Elite 26k 87w not working!

Hi,

My power bank is not charging my devices. If I press the single button it has, no lights turn on. But, as soon as start charging the power bank, all lights turn on telling me that the power bank is fully charged. There are no screws in the power bank, and I am not sure how to take it apart to see if something is loose or to check if any component has a short! Does anyone know how to fix this or knows how to take it apart?

Power Bank: How do you check the battery health of a power bank?

Is there a way to test the battery capacity? I have a couple Anker power banks, PowerCore 500 and 337/PowerCore 26K. Both are about 7 years old and been used very intermittently. I'm assuming the capacity has diminished with age, but want to get a better idea of how much since hoping to use them on an upcoming trip. The light indicator on both shows full though I can't recall the last time I charged them.

I'd also like to troubleshoot an Anker A1501 Jump Starter Portable Charger, which is about 8 years old. Noticed it seemingly stopped working 2-3 years ago. When plugged in it'll show as charging, but doesn't do anything if try to use the built-in flashlight or charging ports. Never used the feature to jump start a car.

Battery: My portable battery pack smells like copper, can I continue using it?

I have a Powersource Mobile Mini, I got it as a gift years ago from a techie who said he got a bunch of them cheap due to a defect so it has me a little worried now that is has started smelling like copper. I would be worried regardless, they are quite large batteries and it’s years old. It’s highly reliable and takes forever to die though, but if this thing explodes or leaks it’s big enough to do some damage. What should I do? I assume the fumes are bad too.
