Pentax ME Super: Pentax ME Super AUTO mode occasionally hangs

I'm troubleshooting a Pentax ME Super after a complete CLA and would appreciate any suggestions.

The camera was fully disassembled and reassembled. I cleaned the shutter blades only I did not disassemble the electromagnet/timer assembly.

Current symptoms:

Mechanical M and 125X modes work perfectly.
Bulb (B) works normally.
The light meter is working correctly and the LED display changes as expected with different lighting.
In AUTO mode the shutter occasionally remains open indefinitely. The problem is completely random and can happen at any shutter speed.
While the shutter is stuck open, the selected shutter speed LED in the viewfinder remains illuminated.
Switching the mode dial to 125X or M immediately closes the shutter.
Removing the batteries also immediately closes the shutter.
The advance lever remains locked while the shutter is stuck.
The self-timer behaves exactly the same as pressing the shutter release directly.
Tapping the camera body does not release the shutter.

From the service manual, it seems the electromagnet continues to be energized instead of being released. I'm trying to determine whether this is more likely caused by the timing/memory switch circuitry (SWT/SWM), a mechanical timing contact adjustment, or a fault on the PCB (transistor, capacitor, etc.).

Has anyone experienced this exact symptom after a CLA, or knows which contacts or adjustments should be checked next?

MY Lorex LNB4321 camera stopped working, it had gotten water in the cable connection and the female RJ45 molded end had corroded away. I called Lorex but they wouldn't tell me the pin out to replace the end. I know the red and black go to the power plug but I need to know the which cat5 wire corresponds with the wires from the camera.

Nikon Coolpix L820: "Battery Exhausted" on full batteries

Recently aquired an L820, and the device displays will boot temporarily, before displaying "Battery Exhausted", despite the 4x AA batteries having a full charge.

Batteries in question are 3 month old lithium-ion, if that's relevant

I bought this camera secondhand, so I do not have a usb cable
