In an ideal world I would modify the software to move the display graphics outside of this area. Is there any chance I could do that?

Alternatively, it is feasible to swap the display out for another one?

It is fundamentally not right that I should have to buy a new car just because of some bad pixels on the instrument display.

Car is MkII (2014) 2.0HDi Blue 150, right-hand drive.
