Starbucks Barista: How much should I tighten brew head screen screw?

I removed the center screw holding the brew head screen, and cleaned the screen and exposed surface of the brew head. Then I put the brew head screen back in place with the center screw. I am unsure how much to tighten the center screw, as I am concerned that tightening it until the screw stops turning may tighten it too much and block water flowing from the center of the brew head. Can someone please tell me how much I should tighten the brew head screen center screw?

Coffee Maker: Brewing unit not fitting properly

My melitta caffeo barista T I can’t get the brewing unit fully in.. it slides over the wheel easily and I am able to lock the handle. But it isn’t being recognised as inserted. When it’s as far as I am able to insert it there is a small gap so the 2 small stumps don’t push the retracting pins into the roller to push the roller cover to the right. I’ve reset the cog wheel inside the machine madr sure there no dirt etc. the circle with the bump that’s has to be at 3oclock is fine. I’ve lubricated with food silicone, cooking oil after cleaning the unit. Google said to make sure the sensor is clean but I’ve no idea where that is or what it looks like. I’ve always struggled with getting it back in but this time I’ve been trying for three days now. I’m a 79 old old female don’t know the jargon for the bits and my hands are a bit arthritic . So if someone could point me in the direction of this sensor that has to be triggered to accept the unit or tell me that the stumpy things should not be visible looking through where the tray goes. If it is that then I will ask a young fellow neighbour to give i a push, I have btw had it next to a wall to push unit in and I just can’t get it any further the gap is wider than the length of the stumps. 🤞🤞🤞🤞 for any help. Hope you understand

DeLonghi ETAM Series: ECAM 23.210.b initialisation fails when unit press brew piston switch

@vauweh I have also an other coffeemaker who gives me headaches...

It’s an ECAM 23.210.b. This one turn on, but at the initialisation when the unit touch the top limit switch from the brew piston something strange happens.

On the screen leds shows this sequence :

Warning led comes on

Warning led goes off

ESC + OK leds comes on

ESC + OK leds goes off

Temperature led comes on

Temperature led goes off

Warning lights up and stays on

I have changed a lot of parts because the previous owner tried to fix it and did some damage… So, the brew piston and the unit are brand new. The transmission motor is changed by a second-hand one. The previous owner give me 2 power boards and 2 water pumps with the coffeemaker.

After changing the parts listed above, the coffeemaker at the initialisation worked normally. However, when I pressed « 1 cup » the grinder came on 1 sec and I got the error as there was no grounds in unit.

I think the previous owner did damage on the two power boards. Because one of the two board has broken connectors. What do you think ?

Nespresso CitiZ: No water being pumped through Nespresso CritZ coffee machine

I have taken two Nespresso CitiZ machines out of storage after three years. Both machines worked well before storage and were not used for more than 70 to 100 cups of espresso, prior to being put in storage. When I turned each unit on to make coffee, neither one was able to pump water through the machine. The motor in each machine is working, but no water is being pushed through the lines to reach the coffee pod. Is there a shut off mechanism that engages after Nespresso machines have been in storage for as long as the three years these were? If this is not the source of the machine's not working, can you tell me what you think the problem could be, and what I can do to fix it, or where I would be able to have it repaired. I’ve tried every fix possible having to do with cleaning in the back of the tray and grounds in chamber.
Coffee Maker: Black & Decker Coffee Maker DCM2000 small unknown piece

I turned my coffee maker over while cleaning it. Several small pieces fell out. I figured out 2 of them (part of the sneak-a-cup feature).

I am left with one small round piece, with a center that bobs up & down. (See photo #1) It doesn't appear to be part of the sneak-a-cup.

Perhaps it is part of the reservoir. (See photo#2) It looks like it fits, but it doesn't stay put.

I've searched online for hours; called & written the company (no help because this piece is not referenced in the manual & coffee maker is too old); and visited thrift stores seeking a similar model to see how this piece fits.

Merry Christmas all.

I have a DeLonghi ESAM 6900.M Prima Donna and a few days ago, I tried turning it on but there was no power at all. Everything was dead.

Any ideas what the issue could be, before I take a leap of faith and buy a new power board?

Starbucks Barista: Black ramps - a way to 3D print them? (Starbucks Barista)

The black ramps on my Starbucks Barista Espresso machine are broken. (The little plastic things inside the grouphead / brew head, where the portafilter locks in. ) I know this part is no longer available online. I'd like to try 3D printing a replacement part. Does anyone know of a source for a file of a 3D model for either the black ramps or the grouphead?

Alternatively, is there anyone with the skills to create such a file?

(I have seen quite a few people trying to find a replacement part in this forum!!)
