DualShock 4: Problems with my 2 controllers

So I’ve had both of my controllers since the release of the ps4 back in 2013. The controller i use most has a problem where i would plug it in to the ps4 to charge, then it would look up for no reason without moving the right stick. My second controller i use less, has problems where running feels sluggish, sometimes closes out of menus, and sometimes shoots my gun without me pressing R2. How can i fix these problems?

I am buying a joblot of faulty ps4 controllers and am wondering what types of problems are unrepairable? I know analog drift, cracked shells, worn nubs and usb ports can be replaced or repaired but what would indicate a problem with the motherboard, which I heard can't be replaced?

Hey is it ok if I have one screw remaining on the shell and it's the one on the top left corner and I'm saying because I don't want my controller to disassemble while I'm playing.

When I charge my controller the light comes on but when I take it out and check the battery it's like it never charged it always dies instantly. This problem came out of nowhere and I need help to get it working again.

DualShock 4: Face buttons are loose

I recently replaced my joysticks because they were wearing out and everything works great. The only issue I have is that now my face buttons seem to be a little loose. When I shake the controller I can hear and fell them wiggle around. Is there a screw that needs to be tightened or any other fix?

Hello, yesterday I got a PS4 controller because my old one had a bit of a headphone jack stuck inside. When I pressed the turn on button (the Playstation sign button) it didn't work. I charged it and after an hour I decided to try it again. It flashed then shown a yellow light, I pulled it out to see if it was working and by my surprise it wasn't. I charged it again and played with my other controller. After a few hours, it still didn't work. I waited until I woke up tomorrow it was the same. I looked up on how to fix it and then reset the controller multiple times and nothing happened.

Hi so I finally got the analog sticks on my controller these are the Gulikit TMR Joysticks and I dont know whats going out with the right analog stick it clicks, but doesn't register and it looks like it drifts even though they supposed to be new. I tried in BF6 and I don't notice it since I have my dead zone set to 0. Can too much or little solder cause that malfunction?

So I finally managed to install new analog sticks for my controller and calibrated them, but now it won't connect to my Ps4 it connects to my PC I tried the micro usb connector I pressed and held the PS button it didn't work I tried my other controller with same cable and it connected that controller. I also tried resetting the controller by pressing the button with a paper clip by L2 it didn't work either. I bought the motherboard from ifixit it's similar to the one I originally had could that be the problem?

While removing the analog stick it stripped the trace off the board is possible to fix it? would it still work regardless or the board is done?

So in my endless quest to learn how replace analog sticks I've ran into another issue the pad somehow was ripped off is possible to fix it or can it work without the pad? Pic3 is the back of the pad that got ripped off

DualShock 4: Why does my speaker and headphone jack not work

I attempted to mod my ps4 controller, but when I did I broke a couple of pins on the motherboard where the ribbon cable that goes to the back connects. Now my battery doesn't charge and my speaker and headphone jack don't work. As long as I have the controller plugged in to the console everything else works fine. What can I do?

Hello, I have a question about replacing the potentiometer on my PS4 controller. I've already done that. I replaced the entire housing of the PS4 controller's potentiometer and installed one from Aliexpress, but now I have the following problem.

As you can see, the thumbstick doesn't make smooth curves. It makes rough curves and feels more stiff. However, when I connect a properly working PS4 controller, I do get the correct result—smoother and and what it really is suppose to be like. What am I doing wrong here, since I've already done all the tests?

Ik heb me vraag een beetje bijgewerkt.

Ik zit met het volgende probleem. Ik heb een Palo accu gekocht voor me ps4 controller.

Het is mij opgevallen dat er twee connectors uit de accu komen. Eentje voor de nieuwere model en eentje voor de oudere model. Mijn vraag is kan ik de connector die ik niet gebruik eraf knippen om ruimte te besparen in de controller. Want op dit moment gaat hij moeilijk dicht.

I recently used my ps4 controller to play Kingdom Hearts ll on emulator but now i want to use my remote on my ps4 again I've tried resetting the remote and connecting in the ps4 Bluetooth menu and it still wont connect without it trying to connect to my computer has anyone else had this problem or is it just me?

Why is my dualshock 4, pairing with the console, but after a few seconds is loses connection, and after a minute it turns on by itself and does the same, I tried resetting the controller, it does nothing, also it's struggling to connect, which is a new problem, can anyone answer my 2 problems on this controller?, but I don't think my USB cable is data cable.

"I have confirmed the issues using Gamepad Tester. My Right Stick has a drift of -0.10 on Axis 2, which causes the menus to move on their own. Also, while my R2 (B7) reaches a full value of 1.00, I still cannot sprint in FIFA, which leads me to believe the Left Stick (L3) might be failing to register full directional input. DualShock 4: X button works only when the controller is disassembled

I have a PS4 controller that works fine except for the X button, I opened it then cleaned it, and before reassembling it I put the rubber part that goes above the circuit board and pressed the X button. It worked fine, but when I closed the front shell and tried it it wouldn't work, I then opened it and tried again with only the rubber part, it worked but when I closed it again it didn't work.

what could be the problem?

I am trying to fix the battery connector on JDM-055 board, it came loose when replacing analog stick, i found few videos on youtube, but the comments suggesting it didnt work, has anyone tried these two methods and which one will work?
