I just finished following the guide to replace my screen. It looks great but it does not respond to touch at all. It's not glued back in place yet, only held on by the flex cable to test the screen. I was very careful not to touch the screen on initial bootup. Did I get a lemon or am I missing something?

Google Pixel 6 Pro: Aftermarket screen for Pixel 6 Pro?

Are there any good recommendations for an aftermarket screen to fit a Pixel 6 Pro? The owner does not wish to spend OEM price so I am looking for a reputable aftermarket screen.

Amazon reviews do not give me much confidence. I found one in another store that appears to be a decent OLED screen. Cost in $90 range. It has the same resolution as the OEM. Brand is Arbilato.

Google Pixel 6 Pro: Touch no longer working at all.

Ok so my screen's touch started acting fickle then stopped working altogether I really love my phone as well as have way too much on it to lose and I can't afford to buy a new one. So I did what I normally do I read up on it, watched a million youtube videos and tried to repair it myself. The repair was relatively easy but my phone is still unresponsive. Screen picture is clear but no response at all I tried to even get in with a computer but unfortunately I did not have it set to allow that before now(side note pet peeve why are so many things you use to fix something only able to be turned on before it breaks??? Don't even get me started on the nightmare of getting into my emails without my phone but a suggestion make at least one of your recovery options your moms or a close friends email/number) I have tried booting it up in Safe mode and the other one sorry can't remember the name this minute and I also bought 2 different screens both the new ones and the original have full power and a normal picture but no touch I am truly stumped please any advice is greatly appreciated. PS~~I also have a new FPC(connector on the board not the ribbon end) but I've looked at the original under magnification and it looks perfect nothing bent all the pins look connected I don't want to go through the stress of motherboard work if I don't have to. If you even have a way to test it that'd be a help I can't really find a description of how I have several different electrical testers.Sorry if my lingo isn't 100% correct I'll be checking back frequently to see if anyone needs more information.Thank You!!!

Google Pixel 6 Pro: Is there a replacement part for the bottom microphone?

The microphone at the bottom of my Pixel 6 Pro phone is not working with any app (phone, keyboard/gboard, recordings, etc.). If I record a video, the top microphone is picking up sound, which I confirmed by covering the pin hole with my finger and sound stops recording. I have verified the bottom ports of the phone are clean, and tried gently cleaning and blowing out any debris (swab was clear) with no effect on recording sound. It seems the microphone needs to be replaced but I am unable to find a repair part for the microphone.

Google Pixel 6 Pro: Out of ideas for fixing fingerprint after screen replacement

Hey all,

Simialar questions have been asked but no answers provided for my specific issue on them.

I got screen bleed after dropping my phone on holiday, got the screen replaced at a tech shop and now have multiple issues.

The fingerprint won't work: I don't get any error messages or mentions of fingerprint whatsoever, the option is totally gone from the security settings. I've tried to recalibrate the fingerprint sensor multiple times and had no issues with that process - it just doesn't do anything to bring it back. I've rebooted multiple times, factory reset the device and still no luck. It's like fingerprint never existed.

Phone is heating up more than usual when it isn't running much in the background, even now it's factory reset.

Battery drain is huge from whatever is going on in the background, even when idle and no apps running.

Screen is super laggy when typing and also if I try to watch a video on YouTube I notice it lags a lot.

I've tried all the suggestions on here from similar posts and issues, but having no luck at all. The store have told me they put on an official Google screen, but I'm not sure if it's another issue causing this or if I just don't believe them haha. Any help or advice is much appreciated. Would this be caused by the fingerprint sensor being damaged in the screen change? They said they transferred the old sensor to the new screen. Or what would potentially cause all of these issues?

Thanks in advance 🤞🏾🙏🏾
