So, the left click touchpad button (LMB) doesn't pop back up after pressing, the laptop itself isn't problemtaic, i could use mouse, but it is just weird. It feels like i am pushing against a solid thing (like a really old matress) instead of a button.

I have a problem with my laptop it's not charging even though it's says "plugin" the percentage is not increasing the worse is that it's draining while it's already plugin. Now I can't turn on it anymore 'cause it's drain like 0% already nothing working the fan not working, led light is not glowing etc just ded. I already did basic trouble shooting like pressing the power button for 30-60 sec still not opening, already remove the battery still not working idk anymore I really need help I need this for my capstone. Mb for my weak english.

HP EliteBook 840 G2: Why my laptop keeps shutting down despite having power in battery

I accidentally allowed foam cleaner to access the inside cover of my hp elite book 840 g2 and afterwards the battery has been behaving really awkwardly. every time i power it on without the AC adapter, it does not completely come on. it shuts down before completion of the power on process with a click sound . but whenever i use the adapter, there ain't such a problem. this happened immediately after exposure to the foam cleaner and has been the same ever since. i believe the motherboard is the one that was affected as it was close to the ventilation regions at the time of exposure. how should i go about this. please help.

I wrongly connected wires of PC charger , it gave a message and shutdown (I don't remember )

Ever since then it has not been able to charge laptop battery

But when I put the same battery on another PC it charged

Any possible fix to this pc

Power switch -> power light ->6sec -> blinking LEDx3 (cap lk, num lk?) -> 12sec -> fan at high speed -> 6sec -> LED stop blinking

The whole time, the screen is black

Yes, Ive done a power reset.

This is a freebie, I had to add RAM 2x4gb=8gb, keyboard is warped (from removing RAM?) I’ve not put a HHD in yet.

Upgraded RAM on an HP EliteBook 850 G8. Now the laptop won't boot even with the original RAM stick. Symptoms: power button, Caps Lock, and Powerbutton light up, fan spins up then stops, short cooldown with the power LED blinking amber/yellow, then it loops. Tried: Win+B BIOS recovery, full CMOS/RTC battery reset with a 60-second power button drain, testing with single original RAM stick, and running on battery power alone. Caps Lock light stopped blinking after Win+B, but the power LED amber/white-yellow loop persists.

My laptop won't turn on. It can charge and retain power. When I press the on button, the key board lights up for a second then keys like caps lock light blink five times. The fan is also very loud and you can feel the air being expelled

Hey guys, I'm having a huge issue with my laptop. It won't turn on or charge at all, and the battery is completely dead.

The charger it came with seems totally fried, since it doesn't work on other laptops either. But even when I tried using a few other working chargers on this laptop, it still wouldn't light up or respond. It feels like power might be flowing through when it is plugged in, and I even popped it open to try running it straight off the wall charger without the battery connected, but still no luck.

What do you think could be causing this, and how can I fix it? Is the motherboard just cooked?

HP EliteBook 755 G5: EliteBook 755 G5 - Radeon Vega 10 Code 43 persists after restart and BIOS update

I am getting a persistent Error Code 43 on my AMD Radeon Vega 10 (Ryzen 7 PRO 2700U) integrated graphics.

I have already tried:

1. Using DDU in Safe Mode to wipe drivers.

2. Installing the official HP OEM drivers and the AMD Adrenalin drivers (both fail after a restart).

3. Updating the BIOS and Chipset drivers to the latest versions from HP's support site.

4. Disabling Windows Update driver search to prevent overwriting.

The driver sometimes works after 3+ install attempts, but as soon as I restart or power off the laptop, it reverts to Code 43 in Device Manager. I do not currently have tools to open the laptop and reseat the RAM. Is there any other software workaround or known hardware flaw for this model that causes the GPU state to be lost on reboot?

When yes I opened it and I saw that I can't connect to the wifi and in task bar nothing was shown instaed of some pinned apps and later I check setting there I found it shows 0 storage but in file manager storage shows 477 gb
