HP G60: Why does cooler sound crackling at low (17-19C) ambient temperature?

There's an HP 250 G6 laptop with ~3y of moderate and careful usage (main situation described in detail here) presenting a crackling cooler sound upon bootup at ambient temperatures below 19C. To eliminate the sound at bootup I use an infrared Phillips lamp designed for heating vivariums for reptiles and other animals. I place the lamp at 20-30 cm near the cooling vent located at the left side of the laptop and after 2-3 rounds of 5min infrared heating the sound terminates. But then while working for hours on this laptop, if I do not keep the ambient temperature at ~20C and more by means of electric heater, the crackling sound reappears.

I was curious about the logic behind such behavior of the cooler, and also would like to inquire in advance before disassembly, whether the cooler may need some oil like WD-40 or grease, or should I plan for the cooler replacement. Is it a crappy HP design, or can it be expected in other laptops like Dell or Acer?

Recently I had a brief read about someone having fixed their monitor with a hairdryer, and a comment mentioned that this person might have actuated electrolytic capacitors by heating them with a hairdryer.

EDIT: The whole motherboard is part number 494282-001, if that helps!

Hello, I am looking for HP G60's motherboard schematics, or someone who might know how to otherwise find the part number for the LCD connector that is soldered to the mother board (as pictured) - I Need to buy a new one, as the motherboard is otherwise flawless, and I have already de-soldered the previous one, but can't seem to find schematics / the part number for it, to buy a new one. Could anyone help? I really need this computer up and running =(.

HP G60: What glue is better for HP 250 G6 laptop hinge repair?

There's at least one (left) hinge broken in the HP 250 G6 laptop: the plastic attaching the threads for hinge screws is actually broken. The repairers on Youtube use several types of glue:

1) epoxy 2-component adhesive "Araldite Standart" (1, 2)

2) a liquid superglue (Loctite) + baking soda (bicarbonate) (3, 4) or cyanoacrylate superglue + baking soda (5). The baking soda forms a type of a resin and probably is a substitute for the 2nd component (hardener) of an original 2-component epoxy adhesive.

Those who use epoxy 2-component adhesive attach the adhesive not only to the plastic which holds the threads for screws, but also to the metal surface of the hinge itself, thus making it apparently difficult to dismantle the whole hinge if necessary. However Araldite Standart epoxy glue allows long time (14-24 hours) of fixation.

Those using a superglue + baking soda combination apply it only to fix the threads for the hinge screws, which allows removing of the whole hinge if necessary to loosen it or etc. However baking soda may be spilled into unwanted locations by this technique.

My local electronics store told they won't sell 2-component epoxy adhesive Araldite Standart via the internet due to it being allegedly dangerous. I currently have an epoxy 2-component adhesive "Bison", but it seems to have some presumably toxic compounds as mentioned on the package and is of unknown quality. I also have some general type liquid superglue (not Loctite).

Which glue is better? Should I search for any 2-component epoxy adhesive or exactly Araldite Standart?

Thanks

HP G60: Will my HP Laptop G60-637CL be compatible with Intel Core2 Duo T9400?

I was given an old hp g60-637cl so i thought i might as well spruce things up when i clean it for dust. I had decided that i would upgrade my Intel Pentium dual-core T4400 to the Core2 Duo t9400 because it was the best option on the G60 cpu compatibility list (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02... page 1-1 & 4-4) . My socket model name is socket 479. So i checked on its wiki page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socket_479) and it never said that it was compatible with Core2 Duo.
