Huawei P30 Pro: How to fix headphones with split-jack 3.5

Soo my jack in my headphones stopped working, so I cut the insulation off and looked at the wires. My headphones have 1 cabel, that splits into 2 (mic and sound jack) and then you can add a reduction so it connects once again into one.

I am sure the problem is in the 2-jack section, because before it stopped working it sometimes got really quiet so I could barely hear anything, and I could fix that by rotating the sound jack so it can get better connection.

Huawei P20 Pro: The screen is black, but the phone works (even the touchscreen).

My P20 Pro turns on, sounds, receives calls, and even the touchscreen works (I can get to the dial and it makes sound when I touch); but the screen is pitch black.

What I tried:

Restarting it to see if it’s a software issue. It restarts, but the screen is still black. I even tried to go to recovery or bootloader and the screen still is black.
Opened it up to see the screen connector. It wasn’t loose, nor dirty or corroded. I cleaned it up regardless, but still it doesn’t work.

So, I want to know if someone has experienced something like this… I don’t know if it could be a screen problem (since it’s in mint condition and the touch works), or it could be something related to the motherboard.

Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

Edit 07/10/2020:

I checked out the screen for a backlight issue, and I didn’t saw any images, but I noticed this blueish line underneath the phone, followed by a faint dark thick line. It covers the whole bottom of the screen. Could that be signs of damage of some sort?

It also goes up a bit from the side.

Edit 23/10/2020:

A CHANGE OF SCREEN FIXED THE ISSUE.

Before the change I fully opened it up, and it showed that water entered from the bottom right speaker. The mic board was fully corroded, and that blueish line that I saw inside the screen was indeed corrosion.

My Huawei P8 Lite 2017 suddenly bent in the middle. Phone is working fine but heating a bit more, and i did not submit it to any stress, torsion or impact. Phone was kept in the front pocket of my jeans and protected by a silicon case. What could be the cause of this, and is it likely that the damage is covered by warranty repairs?

So my phone has stopped "working". The last days that i could use the phone there were some errors ( apps closing and bugging). But one morning i waked up and the screen won't turn on.

But when you hit the powerbutton the phone vibrates and makes sound..

So what could be wrong?

The screen? but its strange because there are no breaks in the glass..

Hello all.

My P20 Pro has a problem since being repaired. My microphones appear to be muffled, and do not pick up sound well. They seem quiet but also extra sensitive to physical contact with the phone itself. Would this potentially be the result of dust build up? And is there a simple way to hopefully remove any blockages? Cheers.

Huawei P20 Pro: Screen not working correctly after battery replacement

I’ve just changed the battery of my P20 pro and at first everything seemed to be working fine. Now I’ve realized that the touchscreen is not working correctly anymore. It either registers no input or multiple inputs or inputs way from the initial touch.

Any ideas what may have caused this? Isopropyl maybe (it was only 70%)?

My Huawei P9 touch screen isnt working after screen and frame replacement. Everything lights up and the swipe to unlock kinda flashes. With random jabbing at the screen I can get to the unlock screen but little else. Any advice?

Various videos online show people just prying the back of the phone off with a spudger. I assumed I would need to use a heat gun or iopener or something similar to melt the adhesive first? Just want to make sure I do this right

Hello,

I already replaced many LCD screens or batteries etc in phones, but today I experienced something strange:

I replaced the LCD of a Huawei P9 lite and afterwards everything worked fine. All parts have been working (touch, screen, cameras, finger sensor etc) and all software was fine.

Then after a while the touch was not working anymore. I did a restart and since then I got vertical stripes on my screen. I can still see the normal Huawei logo when powering on, but afterwards I immediately get white stripes…

I did not find any clue in the internet about what could have caused this. Can you help me please?
