IdeaPad 310-15ISK: Laptop too slow after "upgrade"

Even after I add a 8Gb ram now having 16Gb ram and 40% free rom memory it continues too slow. Do I need to do any config on Bios due to ram upgrade?

Lap top didn't read second ram i try every thing update bios still didn't work some time gets read and at most didn't also when i open task manger hdd is always 100% any help

Hello there. I applied wrong polarity voltage at power connector and the laptop does not switch on. What damage done, what components to replace? Is a Lenovo IdeaPad 310-15isk. Maybe a schematic diagram with marked possible problems will help? Thank you.
