<title><![CDATA[Kindle 3: Can't put book in "read" folder anymore]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I have many folders on my Kindle K3 ereader including a &quot;read&quot; folder to put books in after I read them. Lately, when I finish a book, the &quot;transfer to folder&quot; option is grayed out and I can't move the book into my &quot;read&quot; folder. Does any one know why and what I can do to get it back? I tried a hard restart with no results.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Kindle 5: Is it possible to expand the storage of a Kindle 5th gen?]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I have a Kindle 5th generation that has 1,46 GB of internal storage. That isn't great because i have books as big as 20 MB, so I have to delete some books before to start any new one. For this reason I was wandering if it would be possible to expand the current storage of a Kindle 5th gen.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Kindle Voyage: Kindle Voyage charge port replacement]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>All the kindles seem to have custom charge ports but I'm not able to find a replacement for the Voyage.</p>

<p>Does anyone know if this exists somewhere as a more generic part? Or know of a repair shop that can successfully replace it - online or Chicago, IL? The ones I've called say they wouldn't be able to locate the part.</p>

<p>I'm considering buying a second Voyage for parts and having the ports swapped (this is about data recovery)</p>

<title><![CDATA[Kindle Fire: Screen unresponsive to touching]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I quit using my Kindle Fire a few years ago, because the screen was going wacky. I’d try to turn a page forward on the book I was reading, and it turned a page BACK instead. (But TRYING to turn a page back worked!)<br /><br />I got it out and I’m charging it. The time/date is still accurate, but swiping the lock screen does nothing. (EDIT: To be exact, it seems that the screen doesn’t register that I’m touching it. I can be touching it and the screen light will still shut off.) Any idea what’s wrong? Can it be fixed? P.s. I live in Japan, but this was bought from US Amazon.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Kindle Scribe: Wifi and Bluetooth not working]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I had to reset my Kindle Scribe. It took a few attempts before my home's wireless networks appeared.  I tried to reregister the device but it was so slow connecting it timed out at the very last stage, verification.  After that no wifi network would show at all. I tried setting it up through my phone but the few times that worked the BT connection dropped out after a few seconds. The last dozen reboots neither wifi nor BT seem to be working. I suspect there is something wrong with the internal aerial. Any suggestions?</p>

<title><![CDATA[Kindle Paperwhite 2nd Generation: Wifi - connects but immediately drops connection]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>In settings -&gt; wireless -&gt; wi-fi networks -&gt; choose my wlan and enter the password:</p>

<p>Kindle connects but drops the connection in about 10 seconds.</p>

<p>Notes:</p>

<ul><li>local library OK; date &amp; time correct; all functions appear OK except wi-fi connectivity</li><li>no error message</li><li>no error report in the router log</li><li>other devices on the same wlan have no issues<ul><li>called Amazon support</li></ul></li><li>on instruction from Amazon support, did a factory reset - didn't fix the problem</li><li>tried connection to a hot-spot using my mobile phone - same result</li></ul>

<p>Guess I'll have to buy a new one? Would like to troubleshoot it myself though. Any help/guidance appreciated - Steve</p>
