LG G3: No sound from Top Earpiece speaker after screen replacement

My Niece dropped and broke Lg g3 digitizer. I replaced it with lcd and digitizer with frame. One thing I didn't install is tiny daughter board all the way in bottom.

After powering on phone, I can not hear anyone from my top earpiece speaker but clearly hear them from when I transfer call to speaker.

Is daughter board needed and what's it's functionality? Top earpiece in anyway connected to daughter board?

One more thing I also lost about 3 screws and looking up online only source looks like ebay at $10.00. I can't justify paying that much for tiny screws. Any leads on replacement for them?

My LG G3 will not turn on with the power button alone. It will turn on by holding the power button down and then plugging the charger in. When the LG flash screen shows you release the power button. On top of that the power button will not bring up the power off screen when the device is running. I'd guess a bad power button if the "charger trick" didn't turn it on. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Thanks in advance!

when using my phone it would turn on and off by it self. it began sporadically then got to be more frequently. I was able to turn the phone on and it worked finr for a couple of hours noe it will come on not boot up and turn off repeatedly

LG G3: LG G3 Signal on and off every few seconds after screen replacement

Hi!

I fixed my phone yesterday, replaced the LCD and digitizer with all its frame.

I took everything out from the previous case and moved them to their new home.

Since then, my signal goes off and on every 10 seconds or even less.

I can call, use data and everything, but the signal turns off completely for a few seconds and than comes back and again...

Any solution? What components should I check for problems?

Hi,

I dropped my g3 to the ground. Since then telephone network doesnt working. When i plug in sim card there is a "X" on network logo. So i opened g3. But I didnt see any broken part. What do you think about this problem?

LG G3: Parts Source: Lens on IR Emitter of LG G3

Does anyone know of a source for a replacement for the little (tiny, miniscule even) lens that covers the IR LED emitter on the top of the G3? I was swapping mid-frames and as I was removing the lens my tweezers got hung up, and when they released, the lens sprung away (never to be seen again).

Everything still works, but the open hole is one more vector that moisture can enter the phone body.

Am I looking at the potentially having to harvest it off of a parts phone?

Hey guys, i need a little help, so i was messing with custom roms, and i probably corrupted the bootloader but my PC still detects my Phone as "Mediatek USB Port", so maybe there is still a chance but that port disconnects every 2 seconds, like when i connect my phone i see it in device manager and it disconnects again, i've tried all of my USB Cable, and btw the phone is all black screen, can anyone help me? and i don't have a scatter file for it even if i get the drivers to work, help me.

LG G3: Hard Bricked LG G3 , won't go into download mode

My LG G3 is hard bricked, won't do anything, tried LG Flash tool with no luck because it's not "seen" by my PC. It won't even go into download mode.

First thank you for the steps to fixing my LG -D852 . Problem: flickering and fading away possibly from over heating. Done: I followed the steps you provided with folding a small paper 3-4 times and sized it to fit the connector beside the camera., It now put together and so far works great actually better . i noticed that there was another step that involved thermal paste, is this step necessary or well it be fine without it? Got a customer phone came in. It keeps showing messages, saying it can't do things. Everything from keyboard, to can't open an app. Trying to restore it, but it won't go to the LG logo, and it's getting hit by the buttons

My screen continually fades out to either a dark screen or a blank one .

When it comes back on it will be a perfect picture untill it starts to fade again .

my lg g3 won't turn on to where i can use it,

when i try to turn it in it'll just start a endles bootloop. if i connect a charger the phone stops looping and just shows a charging indicator icon. (battery level)

sometimes it'll turn on to my homescreen and a soon as it reaches it it'll shut down immediately.

how do i fix this?

I just replaced the screen in my LG G3, and now the phone thinks there is a headset plugged in, when there isn't. I made sure everything was clean when I put the phone back together. Any idea what I can do to fix this?
