LG G5: half the screen has dark lines

Half of my screen has dark lines going through the left side of the screen and it will not respond to my touch. The battery is also overheating each time I put it to charge. What do I need to do to fix both of these issues?

I flashed My LG G3 with the Android 6.0 after that a mistake I used kingroot to root it then i let the Phone perfect the night

next day he wont turn On i retired battery nothing

i tried to go in recovery Mode or flash Mode also nothing took him to a repair place they said he worked like charm in 2hr then he'r we go again same problém

Hi. I have been having really bad reception with my LG G4 recently. Calls sometimes drop but I mostly have issues with texted and mobile date losing signal or not sending or receiving. Does anyone know where the antenna is located and how to fix it?

LG G3: Power/volume button pad not working correctly

I just got an LG G3 from Ebay, so it is not under warranty. I noticed that the power and volume button pad on the back of the phone doesn't work. When charging, the phone charging light comes on and tells me that it is 100% charged, but I can't get the phone to actually turn on. Can you help me?

Replaced the screen on my g4, I fear I may have pulled the camera out tovhard, apps can't detect it and flashlight apps say flash is in use tho it's not on.

LG G2: White noise display, touch screen and phone working.

My LG G2 screen occasionally become like this. Touch screen still works. Probably something inside is loose due to drop while a few knocks on it can bring it back to normal.

However, yesterday dropped another time and knocking does not help this time.. for awhile screen was dark but after putting a tape under the white antenna cable the noisy screen is back.

Would like to know better what/which connector is affecting it. Can it be fixed without removing the screen?

LG G3: Screen has several wide and narrow lines running through it

Several light to dark lines running through the screen after start up. Faded color between them. Tried pulling the battery/rebooting but no luck. Any ideas?

LG G3: right side of screen is frozen after hitting the pavement.

After dropping the phone, my screen has a slight crack on the bottom right side underneath the actual glass so it appears. The phone's whole right side from top to almost the very bottom will not functio0n. it stays frozen. The very bottom of the right hand side does still operate normally and that is only the dual window or clear window bottons located at the very bottom of the screen. Please help! its a new phone. haven't even had it 2 months.....

LG G5: Proximity Sensor after screen replacement

Hello!

I just had my LG G5's screen replaced after it got cracked. However, now as soon as I dial a call, the screen goes black (locks itself). Similarly, if I am making a call on whatsapp, as soon as I dial the call the Whatsapp screen locks itself!

I understand that this might have something to do with a proximity sensor? The person who repaired the screen for me has no idea about how to fix this unfortunately so I am a bit stuck here.

Anyone else faced similar issues? I have tried resetting the phone as well as calibrating the sensors.

Would appreciate some assistance.

Hello.

I’ve been experiencing an issue with my LG G3 D850.Before my LG G3 was fine.One day i left it on charging all night as usual.The next day i open it and get a blue screen.The blue screen issue has been going for a while.I didn’t use the phone for a while.Now i can’t even turn it on!!I’ve tried a few fixes and it turned on to a blue screen..Now i still can’t turn it on again.

Any Fix without returning it for fixing or anything.

LG G5: Repairing & cleaning a water damaged LG G5 (Backlight not working)

Hello!

I recently left my phone in the pouring rain for about 10-15 minutes (long story, i'm an idiot basically) and now I'm left with a dead back light. After sitting in rice for about 3-4 days, everything was working perfectly other than the "auto" brightness option (it would just stay on whatever setting I left it at). But recently my back light decided to give up completely and I'm only able to /barely/ read my phone by shining a flashlight on it. As far as I can tell, everything else seems to be working fine!

It's been a little over two weeks since the incident (backlight stopped working 3 days ago) and I KNOW I shouldn't have waited this long to take apart my phone, but I was terrified to do it until now~

If it isn't obvious, I don't have a whole lot of an idea of what on earth i'm doing, but i'm assuming this blob (corrosion?) is part of the issue)

So my question is -- Are there any areas that I need to NOT get isopropyl alchohol on? I know I need to use something stronger than 90% so I'll have to go search for that :p

And after cleaning everything, do you think if I replace the LCD screen WITH the frame attached, it will fix my backlight issue?

LG G5: Ringtone Setting not understood

I cant work out how to assign different ringtones to different callers in my contacts list. I can enter edit mode in contacts view and change notification sound, and can change group membership, but I cannot change ringtone. I have tried it with the fiull contacts file copied from Google to Phone...makes no difference. I cannot see how to copy contacts to the SIM...maybe that is what is required..? Can anyone help please..?

LG G2: headset icon on the screen cannot be removed

I plug in speakers to my lg g2 phone and the headset icon still appears on the screen in the right side besides the battery icon.now my speakers are not working only I can hear music only if I connect earphones please give me your advice

LG G4: What are the 6 pins inside the back of the LG for?

on the inside of the G4 are 6 pins in a group of 2 in the top left and 4 on the middle right.

the lower 2 of the middle right appear to be the NFC radio, the top 3 on the right appear to be the Qi charging contacts can you confi9rm this and so you know what the other pins do?

LG G4: LG G4 screen turning itself on after timeout

This issue started about 3 or 4 days ago for the record. I have been trying to find a solution online but I have yet to come across a real solution (other than sending it in to LG for 9 days (completely unacceptable)). It happens whenever I turn the screen off, either through the lock button or the double tap. The screen will power off correctly and then turn itself back on within the next second. If i leave the screen to timeout at 15 sec like I have it set to, the phone will dim and then the screen will close, only for the screen to immediately turn itself right back on. This is killing my battery life and making my phone constantly overheat. If someone has found a solution please share it with me, I am reaching my wits end
