My phone says no network but detects my sim card without issues. I can't call, surfe the web or text. I resettled the phone but it didn't help. Swapped sim cards, nothing changed. I kinda think it's a hardware fault.

LG K20 PLUS: OTG and charging problem

When I have an ONG plug in, I cannot charge my phone. I tried putting an TP4056 Mini USB Lithium charger on the battery (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X8X...), but the battery would not charge even with the OTG removed. Is there a better place to hook up the extra charging board to the motherboard that will allow me to charge the phone while using the OTG adaptor?

OK I dropped my phone in the toilet I put it in rice to dry it out and everything it worked for a few days after that and then the screen went black it’s still powers up and everything because the last thing that hit my phone before the screen went black was an amber alert so when you charge it up you will get that amber alert once you powered on so how much would it cost me to replace the screen or is that the problem or is it something else please let me know thank you

I've purchased a replacement kit for my lg k30 phone. I found out that you have the top glass replaced by professional, it would cost the same as what i paid for the whole phone! Need help. It's just the top glass part only, NOT the LCD part.

LG K Phone: Why will my phone only charge if plugged in while powered off?

The phone just randomly started having this really odd charging issue where it will only charge under certain conditions.

Powered off, and plugged in.
Powered off, plugged in, THEN powered on.
Powered on, plugged in, THEN RESTARTED.

Powered on, plugged in and NOT restarted.

Powered on; plugged into PC | no change not detected
Powered on; plugged into PC; AND RESTARTED | It charged but was NOT detected by pc
I attempted to change the USB connection type. It was greyed out as if the phone couldn't tell it was plugged into a PC vs a wall outlet
- This made me think it's it unable to tell if it is plugged into a PC so I tried the next thing
I plugged into PC; restarted; tried to turn on usb tethering. | This too was greyed out.
- I attempted this on two different PC's with the same result. The phone is not detected by either PC.

I have since decided that it is one of three different things; the battery, the charger port, or a software issue. I almost want to even eliminate the battery as an issue since it holds a charge for a while and doesn't appear to have an issue. So it's pretty much down to a charging port issue I'd assume... Which I am okay with replacing if needed because I really love this phone, even though I am a HUGE Moto fan. I was looking for a repair guide and noticed this phone isn't even listed on this website. That's a first for me.

So, if anyone has any advice, troubleshooting, or words of wisdom for me and my odd charging issue I am all ears (or eyes) :P and appreciative.

It's the 2017 model, not the OG K10.

I've had this phone for around 8-9 months now and it's been serving me perfect. I don't do stupid things with it and do my best to keep it running nice. A month or so ago when I put it to charge one night and woke up the next morning it didn't charge a singe %. The charging symbol was there but the battery wouldn't charge. The charger wasn't even heating up. I unplugged it and plugged it in again and it started to charge just normaly. Okay, I let this pass and soon forget about it. Sometime later I would put my phone to charge but it wouldn't even accept the charge source, it wasn't charging. No icon, no nothing. I tried re-plugging it a few times and still nothing. I plug it in one last time and wait for a minute or two and it started charging normally. I know that the cable isn't broken because I only charge my phone when I go to sleep and don't use it when it's charging. The battery holds up pretty well but I started noticing something strange too. When it's fully charged it would take a while for it to drop from 100% to 99% and so on until around 90%. Then when it hits around 50%-40% it would start draining fast. Every 10 seconds I would lose a percent of my battery. Sometimes it would just normally discarge without this issue. I didn't have issues for around 2 weeks and today it happened again with the charger not being accepted. Anyone got any ideas?

I am in the middle of replacing my touch screen/digitizer with frame. I am getting ready to put the phone back together except I noticed a part that is on my old phone that I am sure needs to be transfered to the new assembly., The part is a chrome circle with two tiny gold springs above it. It looks like one of those button cell batteries. It's just to the right of the rear camera. I need to know what it does and how to take it off
