A Chromebook got dropped and the screen got cracked. I changed the screen twice and it is still black I can see a faint image. What do I check next?

Hey guys, Our school district has about 400 of these guys and I've seen a couple with bad keyboards. I'm guessing it's a bad ribbon cable but it's impossible to get to it as the keyboard is riveted to the frame. Any ideas?

Lenovo N22 Chromebook: Backlight is flickering, possibly damaged internals?

I power on my Chromebook, it seems fine at the bright white boot screen, but once I get to something dimmer (Discord window, wallpaper, anything dimmer than pure white), I notice a rapid flicker on the screen. The backlight never completely dies out, but the flickering is an eye strain and a huge annoyance. I already tried this guide in an attempt to get at the ribbon cable and nudge it back into place: Lenovo N22 Chromebook Screen Replacement

But now…I think I've done something horribly wrong. I tried to follow these steps, and made it as far as step 2. I have an N22 Touch rather than just the N22, but I figured that besides the touch screen they would be pretty much the same on the inside. But once I tried to lift up the keyboard, and felt some resistance, and found that in the top-right corner (by the power button), there appeared to be a piece of metal with a screw attached to the underside of the keyboard. When I tried to loosen this screw, it didn't budge. Possibly stripped? I can't lift the keyboard at all. Help!

lenovo 500e: Where can I get Parts for a Lenovo 500e (81ES)

I’ve got a Lenovo 500e Chromebook (81ES) that won’t recognize power. I figured I’d replace the USB/charging daughter board but Lenovo won’t sell me parts. (Lenovo also won’t take money to repair it, nor provide me with a location that I can take/send it to for repair).

It’s a year and a half old and supposedly a rugged education model. I am not impressed with Lenovo. Where can I buy parts?

whenever i plug in a charger one that came with it and a replacment it just makes quite repeating short beeps and makes some kind of electrical buzz sound, there are no lights nothing just the beeping and buzzing coming from the laptop with both chargers

I recently received several important messages that came to me in Outlook. I almost immediately found out about it and clicked on one of the letters. But unexpectedly for me there was an error unknown to me because of which, I can not see the text of the letter. I've repeatedly tried to check the system block for viruses, but in my problem this did not lead to anything.

ok so the keyboard is popping out of the chromebook, the H key is coming out alot, the diamond key is out and I don't know where it is btw still useable just irritating, the space bar will not work unless i press it in the middle, the keyboard button is jammed in and will not come out and doesn't have the little orange thing that other keys have, and keys are really loud

lenovo 500e: Headphone jack broke off in aux port

In other Chromebook models, you can open up the Chromebook and push a broken off headphone jack from the other side. This didn't work for this model. Is there a suggestion for getting it out besides the super glue method?
