When I put it on charge it shows a red light but it doesn't seem to turn on also it has been 3 years since and I had tried to dry it by wrapping it in a towel.

So is only the display cooked and could I use the parts to make a simple raspberry Pi alternative or is everything damaged?

I got my Lenovo tablet in June of 2013, but didn't begin using it until the following month. I wasn't frequently getting on my tablet until September of that year. I traveled with it across a few states and it had problems turning on, but managed to follow through until March of 2014. I left the laptop plugged in and charging for a few hours (to try and fix it), but it wouldn't turn back on. I don't want to pay obscene amounts to fix it or buy a new one, but if that's the case then I'll deal. Can you help me fix it ?

The tablet was repaired by a third-party repair shop.
the charging port was changed, after that it charges slowly! (maybe half a day or one to charge fully!)
The charger is original and the i have tried different good cables too
of course i have tried some other chargers too even 5 v. 3 A.
what can i do?

Following the fix I had moved to Australia but during that period I had noticed the power button was slowly getting tighter and harder to turn on. I found the tablet in my house again and it has been dead for 6 years but the last time I charged it, the screen did show the charge status you'd see when you charge it with no power. I tried charging it today but I am unsure if it's a faulty usb cable or if the connection is dead. The power button is still very tight and doesn't seem to do anything when held down, unsure if it's even going far enough to turn on the tablet.
