Maytag Bravos quiet series 300: washer sounds like it wants to take off during spin cycle

My Bravos quiet series is 4 years old and out of warranty. I had a local repairman charge me $85 to show up and tell me that I needed a new bearing, inner and outer tub for a total of $875.00, Obviously I did not have the repair done as it is cheaper to shop for a new washer.

My question is Is this possible for a four year old machine?

Maytag Bravos quiet series 300: Dryer runs but clothes don't dry

The dryer runs and sounds normal, but the clothes are still wet after running "heavy duty" mode for an hour. This just started happening. I don't think the air in the dryer is warming up.

the washer comes to the end an it has ol on it but you have to put it on spend to get all the water out

Will not fill with water. No valve blockage and electric valves open and close when bench tested. Control board was tested and it too is not the problem.

The "Normal" cycle is :41 minutes total...or so it says. But, it takes 1:10 minutes to wash!! Why??

On any setting for wash, the washer will fill and as soon as it does will stop and give a F 51 on the wash display

My Maytag bravo quiet series 300 washer runs for about 10 minutes then the "UL " code comes up and I tried to level the load out . I even made sure the inside drum is level. Can you please help me fix the problem???

After it is warmed up or in use for a few minutes it seems to not be as bad

Is there an easy troubleshooting method?

Could it be a bearing or is it a belt?

I get the F51 error code on my Maytag bravos every time I run it. I can't fix it myself. Can anyone advise whether it's worth it to pay a repairman (unit is exactly six years old) or long term more cost effective to buy a new one at this point?

Every time I wash the clothes it fills and then just drains and shuts off with code OL So it means over load but I am a single guy with maybe 1 towel and socks and underware hardly a big load so why is it happening??

Maytag Bravos quiet series 300: Broken lid lock on washer

I broke lid lock on my Maytag washer. If i use screwdriver down lid lock hole and push in button, it will wash but wont rinse or spin put. Can i disconnect the lid lock and still use my washer???

after the wash cycle is about to end and starts drain and spin the clothes are still wet

but if the setting is changed to drain and spin only it wrings out the garments very well

My washer is no longer agitating fully and is not getting my clothes clean. It will go through the rinse and spin cycles properly, though it seems to fill the tub up almost completely…which I don't remember it always doing.

Makes a louder than usual clicking noise when on the “Wash" setting, but tub barely goes back and forth.

I can turn the power button on and the start button is blinking. It is on timed dry but the estimated time is blank (3 slashes like ---) When I press the start button it beeps once but does not start.
