Mini: AUX cable , 2011 mini cooper?

Why doesn't any AUX cable fit in the factory port of my 2011 mini cooper? Its driving me crazy trying to figure out how to play music thru my minis stereo. I've tried the Bluetooth & it dosent work. I've also tried to use the USB port, which it dosent recognize/connect AT ALL. I use an Android phone and trying to use a basic USB cord, also tried to use a Aux cord (3.5mm) and the plug won't even go in the hole, lol.. I've tried googling the Anwser to no avail.. Do i need an adapter or something?

I recently bought a *2007* Mini Cooper S ( i know the listing says 01-06 but im taking my chance on this hoping someone knows)

its at 98k Miles clean title no accident report.

it is in the Half engine mode and has a timing chain problem that im about to fix just waiting for the parts to come in, but recently i started having this problem when i shift out of any gear (manual car) back into neutral i have a oil alert and the annoying mini ping noise EVERY TIME! its a red logo with a oil can with 1 drop of oil. has anyone had this annoying problem and if so what was ur solution?

i have new oil and a new oil filter ive ran the codes and i got nothing that comes up that could be the problem is it because of my timing chain problem or could it be something worse to?

2001-2006 Mini Cooper: Why would the car all of a sudden just completely not start?

The car was absolutely running fine, no issues. Service maintenance had been completed i.e. oil change, new battery, new spark plugs, tuneup, starter, alternator, low mileage. Car one day while out running errands, just wouldn’t start in the shopping parking lot. No warning, lights, error messages on the dash ever appeared. No alerts of any kind.

Why out of the blue would it just n🚫t turn over, n🚫t start? Jump starting it did nothing. Battery was charged, it was new.

💡 Please, I hope somebody can help steer me in the right direction - 🤷🏼‍♀️ offer some guidance of troubleshooting this issue!! I miss driving my car!! 😪

I need to check out put off alt but unsure where an easy place to check it as the alt is under the supercharger is the a good spot to check the alt ?
