I am the original and sole owner of a Motorola G5 plus 64gb running Android 8 1. After my first year of ownership (approximately) I started to notice that my screen would stay black when I was receiving an incoming call. Nothing I tried could wake the screen: I tried pressing the power button on side and also touching the thumb pad /finger print sensor but nothing worked. But after I missed the call the screen would wake to tell me so (ie that I missed a call…thanks a lot). Here's the even more bizarre thing…it only happens about 50% of the time (approx.). It's really frustrating because I have to wait till I miss the call to find out who was calling me so I could then call them back.

Motorola Razr Plus 2024: Has anyone's hinge broken and damaged the screen on your razr +2024?

I bought a Razr plus 2024 in July when it launched and have had nothing but trouble. Two screen protector replacements, then the other day I went to open it and the hinge on the right side broke and bubbled up my screen. Now my inside screen won't work, and the phone hinge is making the phone close a little lopsided. I contacted customer support and, surprise, they won't warranty it because I can't prove that it wasn't damaged by me. Even though it wasn't. I have no idea what happened. I wasn't even rough with it. It is always in a case. I just wondered if that has happened to anyone else and what I can do about it?
