Popcorn Machine: Popcorn not popping out of kettle

When the corn starts popping, some of it comes out of the kettle but then it seems that the unit that spins on the bottom stops and the popcorn continues to pop but is trapped in the kettle. I have to turn the unit off and use a knife to "pry" the popcorn out.

Popcorn Machine: Popcorn machein trips mains

So start from beginning I decided to deep clean my kettle full of grease oil etc from many uses so I removed the kettle from my machein and removed the black inner pot from the outer silver metal pot and disconnected the red and blue wire from the inner pot I then cleaned the inner pot and wiped down the outer pot with a damp cloth and let them dry next to a radiator for a few hrs they where both very dry and hot when I put the pots back togeather and connect the wires it trips the breakers in my house and I have to go to the meter and flip it back on

If I keep the two pots apart then everything works fine it heats up etc fine

Soon as I put them back togeather it trips the breakers I have tried electrical tape on all the joints and on top of the unit inside the outer pot to make sure nothing is touching

Now I do have a multimeter and I put each end on the connections on the inner pot and it gives me a reading on the OL setting this is the only test I have done has I have never used a multimeter and no idea what setting to have it on or what to test

Popcorn Machine: Bonsenkitchen Popcorn Maker Model PM8901 Won't heat, blow air

I recently changed my popcorn type to mushroom type. I think this may have caused it to overheat more than typical. I suspect this type might need more heat to pop.

While popping, the machine stopped working (It turns off if overheating.) It stopped working and now will not work when plugged in.

It has an on/off switch which will light when on, so I know it's not a cord issue.

Is this repairable? How do I find out?

I became impatient, and tried to open it. Hiding under the rubber feet are screws with y shaped slots. I have never seen this type, are they common? Also there are two Phillips head screws, these are deeply recessed, I am not sure I can get to them with the screwdrivers I own.

My school has a Gold Medal 8oz popcorn machine that has been sitting on a shelf for about 3 years. It is real dirty and needs alot of TLC! Is there someone local who can look at it and or do the work?

A popcorn kettle on the bench. It was reported to trip mains fuse. When testing it I measured 1.3 kW. But kettle was marked 500 W. I opened it up and could not see or measure anything faulty. Cables and grounding was good. But there were rust on the thermostats nuts. I cleaned the nuts and rusty residue on the thermostat. Put everything back together and now the kettle measure 500W and the thermostats works. Is it possible that the thermostats was faulty due and the reason for it to draw 1.3 kW instead of 0.5kW?

When opening our popcorn machine we found rust all around the tray with the motor attached. We scrubbed all the rust off but now how do we refinish it? Can we still use it? Can we buy a replacement part?

Just purchased a great northern popcorn popper, Pasadena model. The top red cap piece where the buttons are is severely dented. Do you know where I can get a replacement part? The cart and cabinet are fine. Just the top piece that covers the machine is missing.

I have a new to me used Single door GN popcorn machine. The latch was inside the machine when I got it and I cannot find where it was mounted. I assume in the top right corner to magnet latch to the door handles but how and where for sure does it mount as I dont see mounting holes or anything?????

Our PTA has a Econopop 14 and the schematics I find show 3 wire power connector. Ours has only two wires that were damaged and replaced. We're uncertain where the two should be reconnected.
