Pressure Washer: Name this part: Craftsman electric pressure washer model 99016

Massive water leak and loss of pressure on Craftsman electric pressure washer model 99016. Teardown revealed a break in this water line component (should be one piece instead of two), measures about 3” x 4”. Unable to find a parts diagram for the internal workings; the diagram in the manual only contains external components like nozzles and detergent tanks. Purchased the unit on 6/8/2017 prior to the closure of our local Sears, not that long ago in my opinion, yet Sears Parts Direct cannot locate this model number. Without knowing the part number or even what to call it, our conversation went nowhere. Somewhere in the world there is box of these parts sitting on a shelf. Please help me find them!

In the event my search is futile, any advice on a workaround? JB Weld is the only trick on my mind at the moment.

Pressure Washer: No water coming out of pump outlet

I have a MSV3024 pressure washer. The washer hasn't been used in 2-3 years. I have connected my garden hose to the water inlet, there is a bit of water leaking at the inlet but it's small compared to the garden hose psi - I estimate the inlet leaks 15% of the total flow, maybe this is a big problem? I followed the manual, connected the high pressure hose to the pump and the hose to the spray gun and released air for 30s, but only drops of water were coming out - so I disconnected the high pressure hose to find only drops of water coming out of the pump outlet in the first place.

Could the issue be clogged pump internals? I used a wooden dowel to poke into both the pump inlet and outlet, and I have cleared out some minerals. There seems to be a filter that comes with the pump inlet that is no longer present.

Craftsman Pressure Washer 58075287 2016: Stalls after starting with starting fluid

I know there’s no choke for this pressure washer. But I’ve used a bit of gas as starting fluid in the intake and filled the gas tank, but the engine dies after starting for a few seconds. The engine hasn’t ran for over a year. I’ve cleaned the carb and replaced the fuel lines from the gas tank. The bowl on the carb does fill with gas. I do need to replace the air filter foam and the carb bowl bolt gasket as it drips a bit of gas, but I’d think it’s run with those issues. Any tips?

Honda GCV160 Pressure Washer: Pressure washer runs with choke on but stalls when choke off

I bought a used pressure washer that had a host of issues and I think I'm close to getting it running right. Here's what's been done so far.

Cleared blockage in Nozzle, cleaned carb (2x), replaced spark plug, fuel cap cleaned, air filter good, fuel lines and filter clear, replaced unloader, had to cut the inlet connector off as it was corroded to the hose and replaced, checked for intake leaks and all looks good.

Im still having an issue where with the choke on, I can hear the engine cycling. The water pressure builds and I can see the unloader move and unload pressure. When pulling the trigger with choke on, constant, albeit lower pressure and cycling stops. When put into run, the engine surges, backfires, and/or stalls out completely. Im not sure what else I can check other than replacing the carburator all together or replacing check valves in the pump. Maybe the unloader isn't set right? Hopefully this is repairable and I can get it running at 100% with your help

Pressure Washer: Brand new pressurer washer no pressure.

I bought a pressure washer 4 months ago when they went on sale at Sam's Club. It's a Troy Bilt 3400 psi 2.3 GPM gas model, model number TB3400PWXP. I finally went to use it for the first time today and it is not making pressure. It fired right up, I made sure the pump was primed first, then started it, and it makes no pressure. The stream of water coming out of the nozzle is the same if the engine is running or not. What is the most likely cause?

Pressure Washer: Best way to handle stubborn outdoor grime with a pressure washer?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on cleaning driveways, decks, and patios with my pressure washer but I’m not getting the best results.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Standard pressure-washing (2000–3000 PSI) with detergents

Letting surfaces air-dry overnight

Multiple passes with different nozzle angles

Still, some stains refuse to come off.

So I’d like to ask:

Do you adjust PSI or nozzle type depending on the surface or how old the stains are?

Any tips on prepping surfaces—like grit, cleaning solutions, or methods—that make pressure washing more effective without damaging the surface?

Thanks in advance for any advice!
