Retina MacBook 2015: Power on MacBook 12" A1534 without battery

My MacBook doesn't start and shows permanent the red bad battery sign like on an iPhone when there is no power.

This battery sign doesn't let me through any system. No BootDeviceManager, no Reinstall menu, no maintenance menu, No SMC reset, no NVRAM reset,...

Its just turning off after showing the red battery sign.

I would like to know, if I could bridge the battery contacts. So I could use it as a desktop PC and know if the logic board is broken or the battery.

Can someone tell me where I have to connect which kind of power?

What i found out:

The big middle contacts seems to be the output pins with 8,59V.

The Label on the Battery is telling me that it has 7,56V, which is the battery output?

I would assume that I could bridge the 8,59V pins to the pins on the right side next to the output, but I don't know if this is a good idea and if yes, which contact is plus and which is minus. And what is the single left pin for?

Would be cool if i can start this thing without the battery.

Retina MacBook 2015: Keyboard Replacement vs Uppercase Replacement

I have not worked on one of these 2015 12" models yet.

I got one in with a missing key and a spacebar that works but is depressed on the right hand side. What I believe has happened is that the plate that holds the keys so thin that pressing hard on the keys bends in down preventing replacing the keys correctly and if they are replaced they are down and depressed (just like me looking at having to replace this keyboard ;-( .

I'm considering purchasing a liquid damaged Macbook.

Retina MacBook 2015: Broken Bluetooth antenna after battery install

I just successfully completed the battery replacement on my Macbook 12” Early 2015. Unfortunately, I broke the Bluetooth antenna socket when trying to disconnect the Left Speaker. The sound on both sides of the speaker still work. Is the only way to fix this to replace the circuit board? Is there any way to soldier the socket back onto the circuit board?

The issue I ran into was at Step 29 of the following guide:

“The antenna connectors and sockets are extremely fragile. Be very careful to lift only on the connector, and not on the socket itself. Do not lift under the cable, or put any unnecessary strain on it.”

Retina MacBook 2015: My 2015 12-inch MacBook is not charging. I need the data.

My 2015 macbook was all fine. Then all of sudden it won't charge. I went to Apple Store, they said they can repair it since it is under warranty, but the data will not be backed up.

Then I open the back lid while charging it. I can only see the light that I circled in picture is on:

Any guru here? I don't need to fully fix the macbook charging issue, I will let Apple do that. But I really need some data in there. What I wish is that I can turn it on in any way. Copy/send the important files to my Google Drive. Then let Apple do the rest part.

Anyone even knows what that light on is for? Maybe I can try to turn it on by any chance? I try SMC reset thing. No luck:(

I appreciate if someone can answer. Thank you.

Retina MacBook 2015: Keyboard and trackpad not working after battery replacement

After doing a battery replacement in this Macbook A1534 2015, the trackpad and keyboard stopped working.

The keyboard backlight and power button still work, but the trackpad, haptic feedback, and the rest of the keys are dead.

External USB keyboard and mouse work through an Apple USB-C to A adapter.

After first reading about this problem, it looks like it was the flex cable from the mainboard to the trackpad that was damaged during the repair. I ordered a new one, but no change to the problem.

After this, I did a continuity check on all the pins on the flex cable with a multimeter and found that one of them did not have continuity. Then I tested the original flex cable, and the same pin did not have continuity on that one either. Because I didn't test the new cable before installing it, I now don't know if this pin is supposed to have continuity or not. Pictures show which pin I am talking about (pointing to the same pin on both ends of the cable).

I have tried to reseat the flex cable connector multiple times on both ends, resetting PRAM, booting in safe mode, and tried to do a SMC reset. SMC reset did not work, as this does not seem to work with an external keyboard (but I have disconnected the battery multiple times, which does the same thing as far as I know).

Now I feel a bit stuck on what to do and would greatly appreciate all help I can get to solve this problem.
