It kept reloading only up to that point before it turned black. I tried pressing the power button and lower volume button to restart it, didn't work either. If I restart my Tab when it shows it is less than 50% charged and then plug it in, it will start to charge. If I don't restart it, there is an X over the energy symbol. If the battery is completely depleted, it will still charge—but very slowly.
