Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Replaced charging port, still charging slowly.

Hi I recently replaced the charging port in my Note 3 N900T. The seller I purchased the replacement from ended up being one for the AT&T version but I've read that they are compatible. Once I replaced the part I tried to charge it and the phone is still charging very slowly and the same problems exist from before I replaced it including the phone keeps getting disconnected from the USB cable when it's plugged in requiring me to fidget with the power cord to get it to start charging even after trying multiple USB cables, and also my phone not being recognized at all when connected to a PC after trying multiple PCs as well. I'm not sure what could be effecting the phone after trying all the methods. Any help would be appreciated.

Update (08/02/2017)

Thanks for the reply, I will have to use your suggestion to see if the battery is bad. Otherwise I solved the charging issue, somehow 3 of my USB cables all seemed to be bad. What are the chances. I found one that works and charging is no longer an issue. However, I have tried just about everything I could find out about USB connection to a PC and nothing works. Rebooting both the phone and the PC, turning USB debugging on/off, reinstalling android drivers on Windows 7, and trying different apps to no avail. I am certain that something is wrong internally with the phone itself. MTP always crashes when I attempt to launch and I can't seem to find a fix. I believe this might have been caused when I stopped Samsung Kies and attempted to uninstall it a couple months ago, but as it is permanent software for the phone it reverted back to samsung link. Both Kies and Link are no longer supported so I tried Smart switch and still no result. I think my only option now is to do a factory reset and hope that this is only a software problem.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Why won't my phone turn on fully? {bootloop]

Hi,

Phone was working perfectly, then I swapped the battery (I have several batteries which I swap and charge as needed) in my phone and the phone would not turn back on.

ONLY while it's plugged in, the phone vibrates, then the battery symbol with the lightning bolt appears for a split second, then it shuts down and repeats until i unplug it.

When it's plugged in and I hold down the power button, the screen flashes samsung notes 3 (like during normal operation), then shuts down.

Clearly this is an issue with something on the logic board. I think power is not being routed properly from the battery, but I'm not sure. Can you help?

Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Complete shutdown and possible never work again.

What do you think would cause a phone that is on a charger and has 80 percent battery to shutdown? But is also not powering back up at all; I mean I press the power button and hold it for a second or two, and I get nothing. No light on screen, no vibration to let me know that there is power I mean I get no response from the phone at all. Would like to know what you think is the problem?

Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Water Damage to Note 3 an year back. Is it possible to revive it?

Dropped my phone in a pool an year back. Put it in a rice bag. Didn't work so moved on to another phone. While researching noticed quite a few people got their phone working again. I have opened the back cover but i am not able to see if there is any water damage and if yes then to what components?

Update (04/16/2017)

Thanks for the guide. I have just performed a teardown and dunked the components in isopropyl alcohol . However, while removing the components, i broke a thin portion of the end of the USB charging strip. Therefore i did not completely remove the USB module and the vibrator motor part from the board. I have right dunked these components attached with the board. Do you think i need to replace the USB charging strip? Also, is there a way to identify if my old battery works or not?

My phone dropped in the water about 1 week ago. Soon I opened it and dried with cold hairdryer the mater board and all the contacts. After 3 4 hours a tried to switch on and it worked fine. After about 3 days during the night the phone switched off. I did not know why. When I tried to charge it the phone showed the dock was connected but did not charge the battery. So I bought and replaced a new dock charge inside the phone but remained the same problem.
