Samsung Galaxy Note 4: Phone not turning on at all

So, I got this phone about 1 year ago from my brother(it was his old phone), and I got it repaired about 2-3 weeks ago because the charging port was bent. I charged the phone at the same level as the charger most of the time,and now it won’t respond to the charger at all. I turned it off and did a factory reset, deleted cache and everything. Now when I plug it in it just instantly shows the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 writing and gets stuck there. I can’t do a factory reset or anything else either, and when I take the charger out its just a black screen.

I have a brand new Note 4, I turned it on once and it was downloading forever and I pulled the battery. Now it is totally dead, no response when I hold the power button and the light doesn’t come on when I plug in the charger. How can I get it to work? Did I fatally wound it when I pulled the battery during the download (the little green Samsung guy was on the screen but no indication of what it was downloading and my previous Note 4 didn’t do any kind of download). Please help, I need to get this phone working since my old one is not working right (problems with the touchscreen not being responsive among other issues). Or have I turned it into an expensive paperweight?

Samsung Galaxy Note 4: What is the metal strip behind the battery sticker?

I watched a video about removing this secret part behind the sticker on the battery that comes with the Note 4. They say it sends data about what you're doing on your phone (calls, texts, etc). I don't think it's true so was just wondering if you could tell me what part of the phone this is?

So last month my phone (Samsung Galaxy note 4) stopped charging and wouldn’t turn on. The phone is about 7 years old.

The temporary solution I got was pressing the power and volume buttons down without the battery for a minute and then doing the same thing with the battery in. This worked long enough for me to back up the majority of my documents.

I need to turn it on one more time to back up a very important conversation I had going with my best friend who passed away last year. However the temporary solution is no longer working and I really don’t want to lose this.

Are there any permanent fixes to this problem? Could I get some parts to be replaced to fix this? What would need to be done to create a more permanent solution?.

Any helpful answers are appreciated.

Ok so a few weeks ago my phone was working perfectly fine until one day it died and never powered back on, I tried doing the power and volume button thing but that didn’t work, unfortunately. I tried to see if it was the port that was the problem but the person I sent it to said that they put a new port in and nothing happened…Please, someone, help with this issue because I don’t want to lose this phone since it has all my art, videos, and other documents and information that are very important to me that I need if someone could answer I would really appreciate it

I just got this used phone from my dad and he just replaced the charger in it a couple of days ago and today he handed it to me and basically said good luck and left me to it. However, I’ve noticed that it won’t charge. I’ve tried taking the battery out and putting it back in, and I’ve tried testing the charger on other devices and the charger works fine. The only time the phone will charge is when it is completely powered off and it only charges in quick little flickers. Every second or two it will charge enough for it to make the phone buzz and then stop. I can’t get it to charge at all if it’s powering on or if it’s on and I’ve tried searching all over the internet to see what I can do about it. I figured it’s something wrong with the charging port but I have no money to go get this phone fixed. I appreciate all the help I can get.

My Samsung note 4 one day starting intermediately working and it didn't work sometimes, then it starting showing errors like couldn't do normal boot and yesterday I had my phone at 4% and I turned it off. An hour later when I tried plugging it in it wasn't working, I tried taking out the battery for a few hours and even overnight and nothing fixed it, I hope someone can give me a fix for it because my phone is so important to me.

My phone has been experiencing a problem with it’s screen, half the screen will freeze and the other will continue to work normally, I usually fix this by turning off the phone and removing the battery and putting it back in.

I did so recently and dropped it mid battery swap(I’m clumsy) The screen wouldn’t come back on but still sensed my pen and the buttons still light up. I tried taking the screen off and reseating the connectors, but doing so hasn’t worked

After following the guide on here to remove and replace motherboards, half of my screen, the right half, is light and dark grey horizontially lined. Both motherboards were working before I swapped them. How can I fix this?

Samsung Galaxy Note 4: My microphone doesn't work unless my headphones are plugged in.

I've had this phone for many years now, and I've not had this trouble before.

I tried looking it up, but my problem seems to be quite different to other similar ones, so I've decided to come on here.

Basically, when I make video calls on Skype or Facebook, my voice cannot be heard unless I am using headphones (through my headphone mic).

This is also the same with taking videos, no sound can be heard when I don't have headphones in.

Although, when I make phonecalls from my contacts, my voice can be heard on the other end, and I also tested it on my voice recorder app and the sound was perfectly fine, so it can't be a hardware problem.

I've also checked the permissions for these apps and the microphone is allowed.

Does anyone have any clue on how to fix this?

Samsung Galaxy Note 4: After Factory reset, Can't login to Google with email

Galaxy Note 4. Phone was stolen a while back. The person factory reset it because they did not have my password..to get but now that I have my phone back I can't get past the setup screen. It won't login to my Google account.. I've changed the password waited 12hours then retried but no luck..

Another weird thing is before stolen it was connected to Xfinity WiFi, (Remembered). Now it won't connect says, can't use that network, but works when I connect to Starbucks WiFi, but still won't let me get past Google login.. I dont get it .

Also when I hold power, home, vol down buttons phone tells me about a “Custom Os”. To download??

Samsung Galaxy Note 4: modification for privacy at a core level

So I want to remove the cameras and microphones and also wanted to replace the chip set. I could also just buy a used note 4 motherboard, but I wanted to modify the chipset at a core level. I am looking for tools to remove parts and then a reference to what equipment I need to redo / modify the chip core information. I am not a “bad guy” and actually help vulnerable people for a living. I am not trying to hide but like my privacy and dont need google or Canada’s New Czar ( Justin Trudeau ) getting ahold of my clients private info through my correspondence.

My phone was drained and now it wont charge or turn on. I tried pulling out the batter a few times and connecting to my computer but it still didnt do anything.
