SodaStream Source: Why does water squirt everywhere when carbonating water?

I have been given a soda stream as a birthday gift which sprays water everywhere when you try and carbonate water. There is a small red/orange peg about 5mm long loose in the box, I’m wondering if this could be the culprit? I don’t have the receipt as it was a gift and the purchaser doesn't’ either and doesn’t live in the same country as me. It seems a waste to chuck it but it’s of no use to us in its current state. Any advice?

Gas will not stop coming out after carbonation. Returning the plunger to the initial position will not stop the gas escaping

I have the Soda Stream Source, and it stopped fizzing the water. I have bought a new gas bottle, and also changed the battery. The lights activate on the front panel but no gas is released in to the soda stream bottle, therefore no fizz. Has anyone had this issue before?

Recently every time we try to re gas our bottles the by pass seems to activate straight away & is not gassing the bottles correctly. We are using way more gas than required

New Zealand SodaStreams have a different thread for gas canisters. I’d rather continue using my existing machine than buy a new one. Where can I get a replacement part to allow me to use the local gas canisters?

The part that attaches to the front of my Aqua Fizz machine, about the bottle container, was not included in the box when I received the machine. How do I replace it?

Please ship me the part and one additional cartridge.

I think I answered this already, but just in case……I would like to purchase the part that attaches to the front of the machine above the bottle receptacle, and another gas cylinder.

Please do not duplicate this order.

SodaStream Source: Yellow piston fell out and now will not seal

Removed empty cartridge and a yellow piston with a rubber gasket fell out. I put it back in and it will no longer seal. I tried putting gaskets on top of bottle but still will not work.

The device has worked fine until now, but when I insert a bottle now the lever won’t fully go back into position. It works fine without the bottle but now it won’t work.

Has something broken or bent? I can’t see anything different up there. We have it on two different machines now.
