PlayStation 3: Older PS3 stuck updating and can't go into safe mode.

I have an older PS3 (It was a gift, I don't know the hard drive size.), and the disk drive does not work. Until I get around to repairing the drive I was going to give it to my mother for watching Netflix.Unfortunately, when I connected it to the internet it began the update, and then it had an error, and will not go into safe mode.

I would like to know how I could remove the hard drive and reformat it so that it will be past the update problem.

Is that possible? and how would I go about that?

My ps3 controller battery went dead then my charger broke and then my controller dropped then i got a new charger and now the controller wont turn on How can i fix this ?

So, I bought this controller about a year ago and, as it was my 2nd controller, never used it so often. Then, my first controller broke, and I had to use this 2nd one since then. So, I noticed that whenever I moved the analog stick to the right, it computed as if I was moving diagonally to the bottom-right corner. Whenever I moved to the left, the movement in-game was as if I was moving diagonally to the top-left.

Then I tried to fix it by opening it and seeing if there's any problem, and it didnt seem like it had. The only thing I did when I opened the controller is that I took the analog stick out and put it back again. Then, another problem appeared: whenever I moved the analog stick upwards, to move forward in-game, it stopped moving after a while, like 5-10 seconds. What should I do? Is that a chipset problem? Please help!

PlayStation 2 Slimline: Optical drive not spinning up

The CD does not spin. The laser unit and the spinner are brand new. What do I need to replace? I bought the entire disk unit that includes the motor of the spinner the laser lens and the cables included.

PlayStation 4: Blu Ray Disc Drive - Error CE-35888-2

Not sure how this happened maybe after I opened my PS4 and replaced the thermal paste because my PS4 was constantly crashing/freezing. Afterwards never happened again but it was louder. Original thermal paste was dried out and cracked only aprox year after I got it.

I tried to play new game couple months later Fallout 4 no dice unreadable disc. I usually only buy digital games since they install fully on console anyways. Been able to by pass this issue and have a functioning console by pulling the power from PS4 Motherboard to the Blu Ray controller board then doing what I need. Weirdest thing is PS4 sees the disc and begins to read it then crash's with CE-35888-2 error. I understand boards are married but it's the same board that came with my PS4 I've played games I have discs for before. I've made sure all the cables are plugged in.

I have issues doing following.

-Reinstalling PS4

-Reading disc's

-Updating

PlayStation Move: Why my Move controller sphere light is not working?

my 40 gyg. ps3 won't turn on when i press the power or eject button. there is no blinking red light it just stays constant red. about a year ago someone spilled koolaid on the buttons but the ps3 still worked after it was dried out. any help would be much appreciated.

PSP 300x: Why wont my Psp wont turn on or charge?

My psp has been sitting for over a year. I took it to a used game store and tried several different chargers and nothing. Not even the charge light came on. It will turn on if you put a battery in it that has a charge but if you try to charge it still nothing happens.

My ps4 DS4 is doing as title say's but only does this if u connect usb too it otherwise does nothing. Works in safe mode with usb connected tho, Nothing in normal mode.

Tried connecting it too pc with usb makes connection sound on the pc and lightbar on DS4 blinks once then off. Then tried too connect DS4 by Bluetooth too pc WIRELESS CONTROLLER appears in list with ready too pair underneath and pair button too push on screen. So try too put DS4 into pair mode where the lightbar blinks white (holding SHARE & PS BUTTON down) nothing happens so can't pair. Tried also resetting DS4 with thin object connected with usb will flash lightbar once does nothing if push reset without usb connected. Think that's everything I've tried just going too try connecting too my Android now, So PLEASE PLEASE somebody help me don't know what else I can do other than open it up and trying a few things...........

My ps3 will power on but a split second later go to yellow then 3 beeps with red blinking light. Is this the ylod issue that ps3 phat had? I have the tools needed to fix yold if that is it but i want to confirm thats the issue. The system is about 3 to 4 years old

One of the charging ports on my charging station is no longer working. I think one of the metal contacts that is supposed to spring up is trapped in the plastic housing. Does anyone know how to open this thing so I can try and re-seat it?

PS4 stuck in safe mode

Everytime i turn ps4 on it checks system storage status then goes to menu tells me cannot start ps4 connect controller and press ps button then it tells me i need update file version 5 and i put i USB with update file it tells me update file cannot be used error code CE-34788-0 but when i start PS4 in safe mode (7 seconds on power button) it installs the update but after restart safe mode again please help

PlayStation 4: PS4 will randomly lose WIFI connection and then will reconnect

It normally happens while playing online games, it will have a notification pop up and say “WIFI connection lost” but by the time the notification pops up, I can rejoin a party and reload into a game. It will randomly lose connection and I already applied new thermal paste because I thought the problem was caused from overheating. Is it my WIFI antenna?

I'm receiving the error 80010017 in my almost new PS3 slim. Everything appears Ok but when I try to play any game I allways receive the error message.

PlayStation 3 Super Slim: Why is my HDMI output not working?

My PS3 slim was running as if it was superior to PS4 (that was a hyperbole). Once suddenly the HDMI output stopped working after 2 months of not playing. Then, I changed to an SD for some time and then got a new HDMI cable. It worked.

After almost a year of well working, Suddenly the HDMI output stopped working when I was playing Minecraft. I tried using a new cable, but this time it didn't work.

I searched a lot of IFIXIT forums and all around google. Everyone said,"hold the power button till the second beep." A guy also said that you should handshake,i.e. reset the video setting for a million times around (a hyperbole). I did try all of these but the problem didn't get resolved. SD output's rendering is very poor on my TV that if I see 10 building in HDMI assassin's creed 1, I see only 3 in SD.

How do I fix it?

Should I consider visiting a Sony centre?

PSP 3000: PSP turns on with green light but screen doesn't light up

I didn't start my PSP up for a very long while (at least a year or two) and when I tried to power it on, the battery was (quite obviously) dead and I had to borrow it from my friend because my charger is missing, but when I tried to start it up, what I stated in the question title happened and the battery is most likely to be fine as my friend's PSP could start properly with this battery.

Case closed, the screen might be a cause, but I think the real culprit is most likely defects of motherboard. I probably didn't store the PSP properly and the the motherboard probably got a bit oxidized at somewhere that we don't want it to happen. Anyway I'm off for a second hand one and put my old friend on a display shelve.
