The car died while being driven. gas is in the car and it does turn over, but there is no spark form the spark plug

2013 Subaru Impreza

Key will not release when we shut the engine off. We have already troubleshot several steps. Brake is applied, transmission firmly in park, pushing key inward while turning engine off. Engine shuts off but will not complete cycle so that it can be removed.

2008-2013 Subaru Forester: White smoke coming from under the hood, but disappears and runs fine.

My subaru will have white smoke coming out from under the hood and smells like burning oil or rubber, but eventually the smell will go away and the smoke will go away. The car runs perfectly fine. I have looked under the hood when it had some smoke coming out and it seems like its coming more from the bottom of the car. Any ideas?

2000-2007 Subaru Impreza: How to fix if check engine light is on

Check engine light of my car is flashing from few days. Although I got my car serviced recently and it was working perfectly but suddenly engine light comes on. I already tried to reset it and that method just worked for few hours but then light comes back again. I am going to take the car back to the repair shop. Is there any suggestions what could be the problem.

Subaru: How many timing belts do I have?

So recently in my 1987 GL wagon a belt on the drivers side snapped, it looks like its either 2 belts (one passanger and one driver passanger side belt is bigger) or its one giant belt. Could be a balance shaft belt? My friend tore it appart and sent pics so i havent seen it myself yet just trying to have all belts bought before i go work on it. Thank you in advance.

Not a solution but I'm having the same issue!

My 2013 impreza is doing this more and more lately. Sometimes taking me up to 20+ mins actively trying to get it out (not to mention looking stupid and a lil crazy to anyone parking next to me) I have a automatic and I'm hoping to avoid dismantling my center shifting area but this is killing me

2007-2011 Subaru Impreza: Why is my car idle not smooth and car feels like it’s choking

So I drive a Subaru Impreza and I changed the engine in it and didn’t replace any parts other then sparks plug when I first put it in even though I should off my mistake which I am paying for now so my issue is the car every now and then after a couple months later feels like it’s choking and doesn’t have enough power when taking off or even when driving my heater core is also blocked so heater doesn’t work unless I unblock it and after unblocking it I realised while waiting for the car to heat up the car while idling feels like it’s about to shut off then the revs come back up and this happens until car is warm enough to idle on its own I also have a pod filter on not sure it that effects anything but ye was wondering what I should be looking for because I have a feeling I might need to pull my engine out again and do the full works on it and there’s also think I burning oil cause my exhaust fumes smell different and very strong as well I am from Australia wa btw

2002-2008 Subaru Forester: Went through a water crossing and now my car won’t start

So I went through a water crossing and got bogged, my car was starting at first just running a little rough, now it wont start at all but still cranks over fine, we tried tow starting it, it would go alright at first but I couldn’t actually accelerate at all, then when I stopped it would stop again.

Subaru Outback: Windshield wash pump and clock went off together.

Hi.

We have Subary Legacy Outback 1997.

Yesterday my husband had to add oil and coolant in our car. This morning when I was driving to work, I noticed that I can’t wash the windshield - pump is silent. We did have some washing liquid in that tank yesterday.

Same time I noticed - the car clock / radio is off.

I know the clock worked yesterday, but not sure about the pump (didn’t use it for few days).

Is it possible to accidentally disconnect something while doing maintenance? Or can it be fuse related? (still kind a weird that 2 unrelated things went off about the same time)

What should I do / check to fix it?
