Microsoft Surface: charger light flashes and surface wont charge

I was using my surface and it got the low battery notification so I went to get a charger and when I plugged it in the light on the charger flickered and surface didn't charge. The problem isn't the charger (I tested it at Microsoft store). I then ordered a new power plug and opened surface and installed the new one. When I tested it again, it still didn't work. I have tried disconnecting the battery, still nothing. If anyone has any idea what the problem could be, help would be very much appreciated.

Samsung Android Tablet: Busted Samsung Galaxy Tab S screen/digitizer, need parts or repair

I repaired my own Nexus 7 when it cracked (twice, don't ask), but when it cracked even slightly it was unusable.

This Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.1 inch still works though the glass looks like a maze.

Is just the outer glass separable from the digitizer, or do I have the wrong idea and need to replace them both?

The Nexus was intense to repair, but with caution it was easier than I thought it would be. Can I use that experience on the Galaxy Tab S too?

iPad Mini: Lock button not working after screen replacement

I recently replaced an Ipad 2 screen and noticed the power/sleep/wake button allows me to power down the Ipad, but I am not able to put it in sleep/standby mode. I was able to do a reset by holding down the home and power button, but no luck putting the Ipad in standby mode. Because I am able to power down, doesn't that mean the button is actually working? Is there something in the software that recognizes it has a single click versus a hold down? I tried restoring via itunes with no luck either. I am right now relying on the auto lock feature to put it in sleep mode, but was curious if anyone had seen this issue before. The iPad won't even go to lock screen through assistive touch.

Nexus 7 2nd Generation: Automatic screen rotation not working

I've had a Nexus 7 Gen 2 for a couple years now, and recently, the screen has stopped rotating in response to device orientation. Restarting the device used to fix the issue temporarily, but now even that doesn't always work. This also affects tilt functions in various games.

Check My Android reads 0 on the tilt sensors when the device gets stuck. I use Rotation to manually shift the screen, but this problem occurs with or without the app installed.

Any suggestions as to what might be wrong and how to fix it?
