i have been trying for hours to connect this to my phone or pc but it simply doesnt show up on any of my devices ive already updated it to the most recent hardware can i not connect to them because its a first gen what the !&&* is going on with my &&^&^$^ controller this is !#^&^$^ me off and calling didnt help

Hello,

I tried replacing the left analog stick module on a xbox one controller board (soldering).

I did not solder a new module on the controller yet so on the moment you only see the soldering “holes” but when i connect my controller to my xbox or my pc it keeps pressing up (controller tester says the left stick is continuesly pushing up) But there is no left stick…

Does somebody know what this could be?

Xbox One Elite Controller (Model 1698): Loose & unresponsive left bumper

The left bumper on my controller has slowly become more and more loose to the point I can’t put the bumper back in place, the bumper is also unresponsive when I press it aswell.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

in a fit of gaming induced rage I decided it would be a good idea to slam the controller against my knee. It feels like it’s not attached and won’t stay in the middle will I need to buy a new controller or can I fix this?

Xbox One Elite Controller (Model 1698): Analog stick module replacement

Hey,

I tried to change the analog stick module of several of my xbox one controllers, i dont have much experience soldering etc btw.

But i replaced the module on the board and when i connect my controller to my pc with game controller tester the analog stick is pressed 100% to the right.. Why does this happen and how do i prevent it?

I tried to change the module on 3/4 boards and all have similair problems..

Did i burn all my boards? Are the analogstick modules faulty? Or am i missing a step…

I also tried to change it on my elite controller, i replaced the left stick because the right one was working fine.

But after replcing te left one it says im pressing it 100% to the left, moving the stick around etc does nothing.. but the strange thing is it also says that im pushing the right stick 100% in a direction but i dident touch the right one.

Anyone knows what im doing wrong?

And strange that all boards have similair problem…

Xbox One Wireless Controller Model 1708: Xbox button not powering on controller

I just got a new Xbox one controller v2, but it won't turn on when I press the Xbox button.

When I connect the USB cable it starts and works just fine, I can even remove the cable once the controller is up and running and it maintains its connection to my Xbox. But as soon as I turn it of I need the USB cable to "jump start" the controller again.

The Xbox button and everything works as intended after I turned on the controller (with the cable), it just doesn't work as an "on switch" for the controller.

It is updated to the latest firmware and I've tried different batteries.

Xbox One Wireless Controller Model 1708: XBox One 1708 Controller displays bad & weird button behavior

Not sure if this one is a 1708 (label in battery compartment has been removed). It’s definitely red! I’m not the first owner, so I don’t know the history of the controller.

The Sync button would blink once and go dead when pressed. The controller works as expected when a micro-USB cable is connected. After disconnecting the micro-USB cable and attempting wireless connectivity with known working batteries, I noticed the controller works as expected when the Sync button is HELD DOWN. I then hit the B button and the console asked which controller am I using (as I had a working 1537 already connected). Releasing the Sync button turns off the 1708.

The only other defect - the Pause/Menu button (just left of the X button) fails to engage at all.

All other buttons and joysticks work as expected and tested with the Game Controller Tester app for Windows 10.

What should I examine when I take the 1708 apart in addition to the silicon front button assembly?

Where can I get replacement microswitches for the Pause/Menu and Sync buttons?

Hey there, I know how to replace the bumpers above the trigger. But I’m not too sure on how to really replace the trigger hinge. That’s the part I need to replace as I cracked/broke off a plastic piece.

I connect my xbox one controller via usb and suddenly i don’t feel the vibrate when i plug it in, i checked the usb plug in and it was completely fine the usb cable is working also just working just fine, any suggestion why this happens?

My Xbox One controller was running low on batteries, so I tried to put some new ones in, but no matter which batteries I put in, the controller won’t turn on! I’ve tried many batteries but sometimes when I press the logo, the light flashes and blinks and then fades away. And I really wanna play the new NBA 2k20 I just bought!

Hi, I just got this brand new red Xbox one controller yesterday and I just tried to plug in some headphones. I would get no sound coming from them at all and when I tried them on another controller they worked fine so i know the headphones aren’t the problem. This is the second time a headphone jack hasn’t worked for me and I have to keep a separate controller on to use headphones, I got a new controller hoping the headphone jack would work but it doesn’t.

Controller went dead plugged in battery pack til 100% charged put back in Xbox 1 controller. Then I hit the middle button to turn on. Don't light up. And just vibrates constantly uuntil I take out battery pack. Plug in usb into controller. And it still does the same thing. Have no idea what's wrong worked fine until it went dead. Any help on what's wrong..

I dropped my controller a while back and the left bumper was still functional, but barely hanging on. Just yesterday, I dropped it again, this time it completely broke off. I tried to contact Microsoft and it turns out my warranty expired. I would have to buy another one for $150 to get it replaced. Can someone help me fix it ?
