iPad mini 4 Wi-Fi: Red Screen Of Death (ROSD) solutions?

The infamous Red screen of death has claimed my father's Ipad mini 4 wifi. Many people have said the problem had to do with the NAND or storage chip. I am unsure if this information is reliable.

I have resorted to the professionals, will someone bestow upon me a possible solution?

(If it helps, my father was updating it before the effects of RSOD took place)

iPad Air 3: Liquid damage so screen doesn't work but everything else seems to work

So, I spilled coffee all over my iPad. After drying it out I tested it and it actually restarted to the home screen but the touch screen part of the display didn't work. I was able to see that bluetooth and wifi worked and so it seemed the damage was centered on the display. After shutting it down and restarting over the next day or two the device began an endless loop of restarting. That's when I decided to disassemble it. Currently I have the display off the device and deciding on my next move. I'd like to repair it but has questions.

How best do I test the device aside from the display to determine they are sound?

Does the restarting behavior I described above make this issue more severe?

Is the corrosion taking its toll on this and no worth to repair?

I'd appreciate any thoughts. Thanks,

Took the device apart. Would be curious on your take on how bad or not so bad these look.

iPad Air LTE: Data Recovery from a Dead Ipad

Please I have an iPad Air 1, with a damaged charging port, as a result the battery has gone dead and I'm unable to charge it up.

I have researched on how to replace the charging port of an iPad Air 1 and I learnt it involves some microsoldering techniques which can be quite difficult. I have taken it to several repair shops and they are unable to help me out as they lack the necessary skills.

Right now, I am looking for any possible means to recover my data from the iPad as I unfortunately do not have an iCloud back up.

The options I am evaluating includes.

Buying an iPad Air 1 Battery replacement and changing the battery out, hoping that the new battery has some juice in it enough to power the battery to allow me recover my documents, but the downside is that with a damaged charging port, I may not be able to connect to a PC to get what I need.
To Buy a completely New iPad Air 1, and possibly open it up, to swap the motherboard and any other parts that may be useful and contributes to the storage from the old iPad onto the new one, with hopes of being able to restore all my lost data. But I don't know how feasible this is, and whether it's even possible.

Please at the moment, I'm out of options and need help. I am open to any suggestions. Thank you.

iPad Air 2: Why won’t my iPad turn on?

My iPad has a completely black screen, but I can hear it when I plug it in and sometimes I can hear it make the typing I sound when I press the screen.
I have tried to press the volume and home button for 10 and over seconds, but the Apple logo comes on and the screen brightens for a second before going completely dark again. Thanks for your help!

Does anyone know for sure if the ipad 7,8 and 9 Use the same charging port? I did a 9th Gen port replacement the other day and realized that it was labeled 7th Gen when I was finished. It did work fine but any time I search online they are sold individually for each model rather then listing compatibility for all 3. Just curious if anyone has any insight on this.

iPad 7 Wi-Fi: Screen glitching after glass/digitizer replacement URGENT

Backstory, I'm no professional but have been fixing iPhone/iPod Screens since I was 8 years old. I've always been the go-to to fix iPhone screens but have only ever been self taught from iFixIt Guides.

Anyways - I have tried to repair only my 2nd iPad ever from a family member the other day with just the worst luck. Everything has gone wrong with this repair and I'm so stressed at this point, I can't afford to dump any money into this as I believe I messed this up on my own.

Firstly, I was only asked to replace the screen as it was cracked. Ok, easy enough. Worked on it the other day and finally after 4 hours, got it all back together and done. Went to put the screen on and didn't realize the frame was gashed and CRACKED THE NEW SCREEN.

Anywhom, I said whatever and bought a new one and went to go replace it.

ISSUE THAT I NEED HELP WITH BELOW

Did a function test with the old cracked screen and the newly cracked screen. All was working as should.
After installing the new screen(2nd new one) it is now found that the LCD screen is glitching.
It is that "Ghost Touch" and moves the screen around, types in random passwords ETC.
I thought maybe it was the LCD itself. Replaced that, did not fix issue.
I tried with old glass digitizer, this ghost touch glitching problem is still there. I know it's not the digitizer.
Even if my hands are off the LCD screen and it is ONLY the LCD screen plugged in, I'm getting this ghost touch issue.
Checked the board connectors and all pins seemed fine. From a visual inspection of the Micro PCB connections, all looked to have no issue. Do not have a microscope, as I'm NOT A PROFESSIONAL. This was only confirmed from a visual inspection.

I really appreciate the help and support, as I've been stressed and really losing it over this thing. Not really sure where else to go.

iPad Pro 12.9": Rebooting 120s due to thermalmonitord missing sensor Tc1i Tc1x

I have an iPad Pro that reboots every other minute and creating a panic report, panic report says:

I see a lot of similar threads but with other sensor that its possible the get more information on. A repair shop have tried to change the battery but did not help.

Can anyone help me figure out where the Tc1i Tc1x sensors are located?

I would appreciate that a lot.

I was fixing an iPad for my friend and he told me that he left it overnight and the next day it won’t turn on, he brought it to a repair shop (not authorized), and they told him that somethings wrong with the battery, and they wanted to charge him over 450$. He declined and it was laying around for over 2 years. Yesterday he gave me this iPad for a repair and i agreed. Firstly i checked on the battery and it seemed ok, because the connector and the logic board started to heat up, it’s good to notice that the same repair shop replaced the screen on this iPad, and when i opened it up, there was missing screws, some brackets were just flying over the case. Luckily it doesn’t damaged the board or any component. Everything seemed fine so I wasn’t sure what is causing the problem, so I decided to search it on the internet, and there was a lonely post about the same issue with the same iPad Air 2 WiFi A1566. Some of the comments were saying that the power cord is damaged, but that wasn’t the case so I kept looking, and someone was saying that the charging port was broken so I cleaned it up and took it out of the case, checked it under the microscope and everything seemed good, so that still wasn’t the problem. Someone said that it’s the battery, and I was perturbed because I didn’t knew what was the issue, and finally found someone that said it could be a faulty motherboard, so i took it out of the housing, and decided to open it and check the internal components, Firstly i didn’t noticed it but then I saw a burnt capacitor. I thought to just replace it and it will be fine but I came with a thought that something needs to be causing it and the problem is going to come back, and I have a question for you, what can cause this problem?

Hello there! I am not even close to be a tech savvy type of person, so I apologize if this question might be silly.

I recently got an iPad 10th with its Smart Case. I basically use it for study purposes so I would like to be able to put a card holder on it rather than in my phone (just school/library passes and such) so I was wondering if these type of accessories were even compatible.

For reference I'm interested in a magnetic card holder similar to the one from apple, but from another brand. Same specifications but different color/design.

iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi: keeps restarting after replacing battery

I just installed a new battery using the ifixit battery and tool kit. It restarted, wifi, bluetooth, speaker, etc. all work. However, it keeps restarting itself about every 4 minutes. I charged the battery to 100%. I've tried a few simple things like a hard restart to no avail. Any ideas?

iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi: iPad Charges For A Second Then Stops Continuously

Hello I have iPad A1566 air 2 came from a customer with not turning on. When I tried it I saw that my power suply goes up to 2.40 amp for a second and goes back to 0.00 again. Changed the U2 but still same. Can it be the carging port? But when I plugged the battery out it goes up to 0.10 and back to 0 continuously too.

I have measured the voltage of 5V it is pulsing between 5.1V to 5.2 V continuously too. But I guessed thats not normal too. So thats why I have been suspicious of charging port.

And when I trigger the power button amp goes up to around 0.167 and goes back to 0.00 always too.

Any ideas will be perfect. Thank you

iPad 6: Would replace the logic board remove the remote managed/MDM?

I've come across a few remote managed (MDM) iPads and I pass them up. Could jailbreaking it, or changing any hardware piece inside of the iPad like the logic board or say hdd memory, fix this problem?

Ok so I got an Ipad 3 3g (A1430) for repair I changed the battery and the speaker because it wouldn't make any noise when trying youtube or notification sounds, I was testing all new components, the battery its ok but the speaker would only play static while trying any type of sound, I recorded how it sounds and have the video here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/2fLYcFgrG...
I already returned the new speaker but I'm wondering if it was a bad replacement or is it something else on the logic board.

iPad Pro 10.5": Display works only after letting the battery go flat :-/

I got given an IPAD Pro 10.5 inch from my Aunt which failed after only 13 months of use during Covid and Curry's wouldn't replace it, seemed a bit unfair.

When the ipad battery is left to go flat, the screen will come on for a few seconds and show charging and will actually show the screen for a few seconds once charged. After that the screen goes black. I have plugged in the Apple HDMI and connected to a screen, the IPAD is working without issue and I am able to run updates etc.

The IPAD has not been opened, no visible marks on the screen, a very small mark on one of the corners.

Seems strange the screen will come on fully but only for a few seconds, I would have thought if the screen was faulty it wouldn't come on at all. Also seems strange it relates to only working once the battery is fully flat.

Any ideas.. most welcome, would be good to be able to give this device a new lease of life for the kids.
