I am trying to install the iPhone XR and 11 Loudspeaker Adhesive Gasket (SKU: IF426-024-1) on an iPhone 11 lower loudspeaker, but the gasket shape does not match or fit the speaker module correctly. I have cleaned off all old adhesive. Could I have received an incorrect part or is there a specific trick to matching the orientation?

My phone this last week has been acting annoying, it clicks on random apps and the touch screen doesn’t work well i either have to press very hard or keep turning on and off my phone. Whenever i typed it clicked random words and letters and would always take me onto random apps and swipe on the screen. I broke my phone about a month or two ago, twice. The first time i dropped it and it went completely black but i could still hear calls and music etc. The second time a couple days later I dropped it very lightly again and it just went completely black .I could hear but couldn’t use the screen, basically the same as before. Before these two breaks I dropped my phone all the time and nothing would happen. But ever since the first break a month ish ago whenever I even slightly drop it now it breaks. I dropped it about a week ago on my bedroom floor but nothing happened and it didn’t start messing up until a couple days ago. Idk if my phone wasn’t fixed properly or all the pieces are just permanently loose in the phone but. Last night I went to bed and put my phone on the desk next to me playing rain sounds on youtube with the flip cover shut. I woke up to the entire screen covered in rainbow coloured vertical lines and I couldn’t see any of my original screen. I kept pressing on it until eventually now i can access my screen but there’s white and grey vertical lines covering my screen. I don’t know what to do.

I recently replaced my phone screen. Whenever I make a call, the digitizer stops working and continues to not work after the phone call. Buttons still work always. The digitizer works again after a hard reset. It sometimes works during and after the call if you swipe out of the call before connection to the other cell. I suspect it’s something to do with the earpiece but I’m honestly pretty lost. I’ve already checked software settings and it all looks fine. Any tips?

I just installed the new 16.4.1 update on my iPhone 11 and now there are weird lines on my screen. It worked fine until I loaded Pokemon GO. It started out as a horizontal white line and then turned into vertical white lines, causing my screen to fade. I didn’t drop my phone or do anything that could possibly damage it. I restarted my phone and let it sit for a good 25 minutes and powered it back on. It disappeared for about 20 seconds and then came back. I think this is an internal issue and not a screen issue. Is there a way I can fix it or am I better off getting a new phone?

I also think it could be something with the 16.4.1 update. My sister’s iPhone 11 also had an issue with the update. It factory reset her phone, but saved all of the previous data (it wasn’t really a factory reset, but it showed the “hello” and “welcome to iPhone” screens). It also forced the phone to reset.

Hello everyone,

I have faced a pretty weird issue on an iPhone 11 I recently repaired. The back housing and the screen were completely shattered, but fortunately i had a new housing pulled from a working phone.

I swapped the logicboard and all relevant components e.g. cameras, antennas etc. into the new housing, installed a refurbished OEM screen and transferred screen data onto the new one.

The phone works completely fine, Face ID is working, TrueTone is restored, BUT:

Tap to Wake does not work if the phone is placed on a flat surface, e.g. my desk.

The ridiculous part? The feature does work fine if I have the phone in my hands or a Lightning cable is plugged into the port (no need to even connect it to power!)

Tried another replacement screen —> problem persists.

Updated the phone from iOS 14.7.1 to iOS 15 Developer Beta 4 —> problem persists.

I assume a grounding issue inside the charging flex, so my next step would be to replace it with another OEM part. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, I’m pretty much at a loss.

Has anyone else faced this issue?

I am experiencing a frequent restart issue with an iFixit replacement battery purchased in January 2026 (Order US3345004). The phone restarts approximately every 3 minutes. I checked the analytics logs and found a "panic-full" entry indicating a "userspace watchdog timeout: no successful checkins from thermalmonitord."

This suggests a failure in the battery's thermal sensor communication. I have verified the battery connector is secure and clean. Since the part is within its one-year warranty period, I would like to request a replacement.
