iPhone 3GS: Problem at connecting the LCD

Hello, i am having a problem at the last time when i tried to replace the lcd of my old phone (that had water damage then i was replacing the parts damaged), at the first time with the old lcd the phone was working but i acidentally broke it (the lcd, not the connector) and i had to buy a new one when i connected it to the phone, the phone didnt turn on until i disconnected it so i started to check all possible solution like pressing the home and power button but nothing happen, literally the phone is dead but when i disconnect the new Lcd it came back to live (PS: The battery drains faster when the new lcd screen is connected, even if it is plugged in, the cell phone loses battery, i tried buying another lcd but the phone keeps doing the sma thing)

(sorry for my grammar, i am not very good at speaking english)

iPhone 3GS: How to start an iPhone without battery?

Hi,

I have a problem with an old 3GS. The battery is dead and I can't start it. It turned off one day and since then I didn't used it any more because I bought another one. But, I didn't throw away because I have some photos I want to recover. I've tried also connecting to iTunes but without success. So, I decided to buy another battery to replace the old one (not the original one any more) so I can start it and recover the photos. I've replaced the battery successfully but .... when I've turned it on I felt that the battery is was warm and when the phone starts the battery was at 15% an then in 2-3 min drain completely. Since then is in the same situation like before replacing the battery (phone is dead).

Now, my questions are:

1. Should I try another battery? Maybe the one I bought was a wrong model (616-0435). Like I said, the old battery was not the original one (616-0432), I saw after I've opened the phone. How do I know which battery model is good for my iPhone?

2. How can I start the iPhone without battery? I want only to recover the photos, I don't want to use the phone any more.

Thank you for any advice, tips, help.

I went to go jailbreak and unlock my iPhone 3GS and I checked the box beside iPad baseband and told me that i can’t restore with stock ipsw, and I was ok with that so i clicked ok and it popped up with the iPad baseband is not compatible with iPhone units manufactured week 35 of 2011 or later. if this is an iPhone and if digits 3-5 of its serial number are "135" or later (xx135...), then you should NOT proceed! and mine was 145 and i proceeded anyways like an idiot and at the end the WI-FI tab said no WI-FI, and their was no Bluetooth, and no IMEI, no ICCID, and no Modem Firmware. please help, i cant find out how to fix it.
iPhone 3GS: 3GS SIM card reader issues

i have 4 iPhone 3gs’s with this exact issue. i tried to put the board into another housing to sell, and it no longer will read sim cards correctly. when i insert a sim card, It says No SIM in the top left, but sometimes will have carrier settings and phone number show up in settings, but those take over a minute to show up.

if i power it off and back on with the sim card installed, it will say Searching… and continue to say that even if i remove the sim card.

They all used to read sim cards perfectly before i removed the boards, but no longer will in the new housing or when i put them back into the original housings.

There is no way i damaged all 4 of them when removing from the housings/putting into the new ones. doesn’t seem to be an issue with the 2 gold bars at the bottom of the reader or the 6 gold sim card contacts.

Also, the one i’ve been messing with will now say No service, then says no sim card installed about 15 seconds after i take it out, but won’t recognize the sim being re inserted until powered off again, then it just repeats.

if you have any ideas of what the issue possibly could be, or if you need more info or photos, please let me know. thank you
