iPhone 5c: does not turn on but recognized by itunes

My 5c does not appear to turn on. The screen is dark and when the power button is pressed and when both power and home button are prressed nothing happens. I have tried all the reset solutions available. I have also opened up the phone to make sure all cables were connected.

Even though the phone appears to be off, when it is connected to iTunes, after a few minutes I see the folowing pop-up message:

"itunes could not connect to the iPhone "phone name" because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iphone before it can be used with iTunes". The phone also shows up in explorer as a storage device. These two items occurred before I disassembled the phone so it is not that something was done wrong putting it back to gether.

Do these symptoms mean that the battery is good and the problem is the screen? Before I order replacement parts I want to make sure I get the correct part. Is there any way to make sure what the root problem is?

Thanks, George

iPhone 5c: When iPhone 5c is turned on no image, when pressed, it works~

Hi,

About a month ago I purchased some parts to rebuild my old iPhone 5c, it had all the necessary parts except for the battery and the logic board, today I have finally received the last important piece, the battery, though when I was reassembling the phone the image on the screen suddenly disappeared like it burnt out. I tried several times reconnecting the screen but any attempt to use the phone rendered it turn the backlight on. However, after some “research” I was already thinking that maybe I somehow shorted out the logic board and that’s why everything was working fine except for the screen. At some point I was already thinking about reassembling the phone just to throw it away afterwards, but instead i pressed the screen and the image reappeared again and I was able to use touch screen except I had to press the higher part (well, where the flex cables are) of the screen in order to keep the image intact.

I don’t know what to do, Do you think that the problem is in the LCD itself or the problem is in the logic board?

Please I need some advice)

thanks in advance

iPhone 5c: Why is my dead iPhone 5 still not charging?

My phone usually dies after a short while of usage, but yesterday it lasted longer than normal, and said it was at 93% the entire day, until my last period class. I used it all that period because the class was art and I needed a reference photo for my project. All was going fine until it suddenly shut down. This was normal for my phone, so I didn’t stress about it too much. Then I got home, plugged it in, and went to work on something else. When I came back, about an hour later, and tried to turn it on, then all that would show up on the black screen was a battery with a slim red bar on the left side. I thought it was the cord or the plug (even though I had used this cord and plug several times before) and so plugged it into a different cord and plug. This repeated about two more times before I tried plugging it into the computer, and then into a portable charger, but nothing worked! What could be up with my Phone?
