iPhone 5c: Messed up with the jailbreak and now am stuck on the activation menu..

Alright, this may sound a bit convoluted but I really appreciate an input on the matter, so bear with me a bit.

I have this 5C jailbroken at 9.2. The other day I was trying to move all the apps and cydia tweaks I have from an iphone 5 to this one without having to go through the tedious process of downloading every single one. I got appsync on the 5c and through 3uTools looked around to see if I could find the folder containing all the apps so I could do some copy pasta from one phone to another. I ended up copying the files from the Applications (Jailbreak) folder from the 5 phone to this 5C. I respringed the phone but did not see any difference, so I ended up just putting the old files which I had backed up prior to moving the ones from the 5.

Phone was intact after doing this, but after turning it off and on I could not longer access a most of the apps on it. Settings, Messages, Safari, Cydia, it was all proper &&^&@@. I could also no longer access root after doing this and am now even wondering if I actually moved all the original files back in place. I couldn’t think of a better way to get around this besides resetting the phone entirely. Not being able to access Settings, I did it through Find My iPhone but eventually became stuck on the apple logo. Interesting thing is, the phone shows up on 3utools and I managed to use the activate option on it. Now I can see the ‘‘Hello’’ start menu and the status bar but am unable to slide forward. Holding the power off button also gives no response.

Put simply, the phone has gone full pizdec. I am thinking now I ought to get the latest firmware and flash it through 3uTools, however I really wish I could avoid updating the phone as it would ruin the purpose I even got it for, and will this even be a guaranteed fix?

There may be some minor details I did not include here. Will be glad to answer any necessary questions.

Edit:

It occurred to me now iFixit is more of a hardware troubleshooting platform. I didn’t know where else to ask for some help, I hope this isn’t out of place?

iPhone 5c: Backlight but no picture on multiple screens replacements

I'm repairing an iPhone 5c for a friend and I figured it'd be as simple as a fix as the iPhone 4, but much to my dismay, I can't get it to work. The old screen is cracked slightly but it's got a dark hue over it and the digitizer no longer works.

I bought a cheap replacement screen (like the many I've bought for my old iPhone 4) and it has a backlight but no display. I figured it was a dud and went on to buy another one, this time looking for one with reviews (and 4.5 stars) and it's still having the same issue. There’s a display when I put the old screen back in. I'm at my wit's end and I'd like to know if I'm doing anything wrong or am missing something, or if both new screens are bad.

iPhone 5c: Digitizer stopped working after drop

I've replaced my phone's screen a few times, but recently dropped it (from about a foot, not a bad drop) and the battery dislodged. No big deal, opened it up, clicked the battery back in, but when I put the screen back on the digitizer wasn't working. Adjusted it a few times and got the digitizer partially working, but then it totally stopped. The screen and buttons work fine, but the phone won't respond to touch at all, even though I feel like the connection is pretty secure. Is there anything I can try to do?

iPhone 5c: Horizontal lines across the screen and not responding to touch.

Hi,

I have an iPhone 5C however one day it just started to having white lines horizontally across the screen and no longer responds to touch very well if at all. I know it's not the LCD as I have tried fitting another and it has the same issue and it's not due to being fitted incorrectly as the lines are horizontal and not vertical. The speaker also starts making a weird noise in time with the lines moving. Has anybody had this problem before and knows how to solve?

iPhone 5c: Help with the iPhone 5c repair

Hi, I've been attempting to repair an iPhone 5c that had been dropped. The screen was cracked, so I bought a screen and LCD with digitalizer repair set. I replaced the screen, along with the battery, and I haven't gotten anything except a black screen. No sound, lights, or anything. I can't think of what else could be wrong. I did, however, notice the ambient light sensor was damaged, but I read that it's not necessary for a phone to run. Could that be it? I've tried everything I could think of online, I've done the hold down power and home button trick, I've tested the flex cables many times, made sure they were all secure, etc. I'm hoping it's not damage to anything irreplaceable like the logic/mother boards. Any other help, ideas, or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

iPhone 5c: Touchscreen acting strange after screen repair

My 13 year old son cracked his screen and didn't have the money to replace it, so he decided to fix it himself. He ordered the screen and tools and watched a lot of tutorials. He got the new screen in place, home button and camera installed, and everything seems to work perfectly, until he tried to type something. Whenever he tries to text or type a comment, the screen gets erratic, scrolls up and down and types the wrong letters. The backspace key is the worst problem though. When you try to backspace, it acts like a return key and/or types the letter M. The touch response seems fine in every other way. We've double and triple checked the 3 main connector cables, and they seem to be in the right place. Any idea what could be causing this???
