iPhone 5c: No vibrate and no wifi signals after rebuild

Timeline:

Phone was dropped, screen was smashed.

Replaced screen, and tried to replace battery, but broke the volume/vibrate/ribbon ribbon cable trying to do that. Broke top antenna connector off the wire. Re-soldered it back on.

Reassemble, powers up, but no vibrate. Phone connects to wi-fi, makes calls. Screen has a defect, but operates.

Disassembled, replace battery, replace vibrator, replaced another new screen assembly.

Reassemble.. powers up, still no vibrate. Gets cell reception, but not picking up any wifi networks now.

Any ideas?

iPhone 5c: Boot loop after screen replacement

I have a friend's iPhone 5c and I changed the screen out for a replacement. I have done this several times on different phones with great results. This time the phone displayed a few lines of [NAND] dialogue, with the message "s_cxt_boot:88 sftl: error, unclean shutdown; adopted 863 spans". I found a blog saying to try replacing the frontcam/sensor flexcable, and the frontcam/sensor connector at the mainboard. I have replaced the first part, but cant find any instructions to do the latter. I have another phone that works, and could simply put the new screen on the other phone, but she has never done any sort of icloud backup and doesn't want to lose her stuff. Can anyone direct me?

iPhone 5c: After a succesfull screen replacement , screen top seems unresponsive

I replaced an iPhone 5c screen for a friend a days ago. Since I was installating it, I had some dead response from 3 different screens. I reconnected the original screen and it work flawless. I tried with a fouth screen and it starts working well until yesterday that my friend call me and told that the top side of the screen was unresponsive and it has a little crack on it (?!).

When I installed the screen in the final assembly, when you put the screen into de phone body, it was no easily assembled.

I did remove the red plastic protector from the back of the screen and cleaned the connector of the motherboard but nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?

iPhone 5c: Device wont turn on after screen reassembly.

So I cracked my screen while running a week ago. I ordered a screen of of Amazon . I changed the Screen successfully, although at first it appeareed that the assembly didnt work. I performed a hard reset and it turned right on. But the next morning I was using my phone (which was working great), and then I realized the screen was a little wobbly and and uneven so I pushed the top left corner of my phone down.I heard a cracking sound and three white bars immediately showed up on my screen on the left side. As they became more clear, the rest of the screen dimmed until it was completely black. There are no cracks in the exterior of my phone. And the first thing I thought was that I couldve left a screw in my phone, and thats why the screen was uneven( i am missing one screw from the plate). When I got home, I plugged my phone in to charge, it made the sound and the LCD was on, but no apple sign, I took my phone apart several times again, cleaning the connectors. After a few hours, the LCD doesn't even turn on, the phone doesn't make sounds but it connects to itunes when it gets plugged in to my computer. Hard resets dont work. Im not sure where the problem originiates but I need my phone to work very soon. I watched a video that recommended removing the battery for another type of hard reset, but Im not sure if I should do that. Is the screen defective or id the problem something else? Also, I have one screw missing from my charging port for some reason, will that have any affect on the functuality of my device?

iPhone 5c: Screen is touch sensitive only when held

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your time reading this from a long time lurker,

Something that I've noticed recently whilst testing a bunch of 5c repairs. Its the weirdest thing i personally haven't noticed before but want to get an opinion from you interweb experts.

Picture this, A neat row of 5c's on my worktop all ready to be run thru the iOS setup process prior to testing. Some work flawlessly, reacting to the merest brush of my little pinky, others are not as nice. They insist on being held for the screen to even think about reacting.

Has this been heard of before? It is a known thing that I totally missed?

Could it be an issue with the repair process, maybe with the parts used or could it have been a thing since the 5c release and I've only just noticed. Something to do with the plastic chassis and the capacitive screen perhaps.

Thanks for your future input on this,

iPhone 5c: Why can't I screw the bottom right P2 screw back in place?

Hi Guys! First of all thanks for all the support this great community provide.

I've got an issue with the loudspeaker of an Iphone 5c I'm fixing - sometimes it stops working- and I hardly suspect this is due to the lack of the bottom right P2 screw, which can't hold in place the speaker onto its contacts.

I've already bought new screws to replace the missing one, but when I've tried to screw it in place, it couldn't fit (I've also tried moving the original left one, into the right hole, but with the same result).

What can I do? Is there a replacing part for the P2 screws housing?

Thank you all!
