iPhone 6: iPhone wont charge - but only with 3rd party batteries?

Hey guys!

Very very strange issue actually. I repair iPhones since years, nearly saw everything during that time but not that.

I got an iPhone 6 with a battery which was bloated a bit. It worked well so far, but pushed at the back-side of the LCD. So we needed to replace it.

I still had a replacement battery onsite (3rd party) and tried it: Battery charging stays at 1% for hours. Nothing is happening - the iPhones shows "charging" the whole time. Other cable, adapter: same problem. So I tested the original iPhone battery again which charges well.

So I ordered another battery from another vendor. It arrived yesterday. I installed it today in the morning, started the iPhone and plug in the charger. The battery had a charge of 42% at this time.

Now, after several hours, it still remains on 42%. The original old / blown battery charges well again.

So I am getting crazy now. Is it really possible that I got two 3rd battery batteries from the same vendor with the same issue? I can't believe that. But regarding to the fact the original battery do it fine I do not have any other ideas. Or did someone had the same problem in the past?

Many thanks!

iPhone 6: My phone is the only device that has a bad wifi connection

My iPhone 6's wifi connection was working perfectly fine until about 2 months ago. Now, 5 feet is about the maximum distance i can be from my router in order to get a connection on this device. Every other device (iphone 4, ipad, tablets, laptops) has a good connection throughout the house. Another thing I should probably note is that my phone has a great connection to other spots such as public wifi and personal hotspots. And also that my phone has not had a SIM card for the past 7 or so months.

This is what I have tried:

-resetting router

-Factory reset on phone

-Reset Network settings on phone

-Disabling bluetooth on phone

-Disabling "wifi networking" under phone settings-->privacy-->location services-->wifi networking

-Switching dns to ( 8.8.8.8 ) , ( 8.8.4.4) , and ( 8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4 )

-Renewing Lease through phone

-Switching Channels through router settings

iPhone 6: iPhone 6 - irregular backlight flickering

At first...here is a video I made to demonstrate the fault:

https://youtu.be/m8bLkwm9hJc

And I also want to say at first, that I already changed the Display and the battery but the following problem still exist:

I have a problem with an IPhone 6. There is a 50/50 chance the display starts flickering or not when turning on the display. I think it's the backlight. If it doesn't start to flicker after turning on the display it's all okay...but if it starts flickering after turning on the display, it will not stop until turning off the display.

So it just starts in the moment when the display flashes on and never comes when the display is already on without flickering.

So does anybody has an idea, what's the problem here? What part can I check or which IC /Filter / ..... do I have to change?

I hope someone can help me.

Thanks :)

iPhone 6: Why is my phone not respond to touch?

My iPhone 6 is really bugging me! It was fine the other night, but when I woke yesterday morning, my phone would not work! I've tried everything! I have even tried to force restart it, like hundreds of times and it still would not work! Sometimes, if I literally slap my phone I could get in my password and do somethings on my phone. It would only last a short period of time though before it would get stuck again. The longest my iPhone worked without getting stuck was 20 minutes. Those were one of the happiest 20 minutes of my life. Wow, that sounds sad. Anyway, its been doing this for a day and a half now and I still don't know want to do! Last night, I let my phone shut down for the entire night. This morning it worked for about 5 minutes. HELP!

iPhone 6: Can't get the adhesive off the phone battery (iPhone 6)

I've been at this thing for quite some time and I'm only continuing to get more frustrated as I go. Everything was going well, until I'm supposed to remove the adhesive holding the battery down to the phone. I attempt the way shown in the guide, of which, both adhesives snapped to below the reachable point. Looking through the comments, there were suggestions that I should heat up the back with a hair dryer until it's hot to touch, and then attempt to remove it using a few different methods. Of which, all has failed. I cannot seem to get this %#*@ adhesive off. The floss snapped, I tried with an old card and it doesn't appear to be strong enough, and I've tried using the pry tool which only resulted in ever so slightly prying the battery, which now appears to be bent along the edges, and I'm afraid to "puncture a hole and set a fire." I need to replace this rather quickly as I use my phone for important tasks quite often. Hopefully someone can help me. Thanks and have a good one

iPhone 6: Good ways to seal the Backlight from LOCA glue?

Hey everyone!

I've been giving glass-only repairs a try recently, and the only issue I came in contact with was where LOCA glue would enter the backlight of the LCD. I've seen many videos and guides already, and some suggest just using a mold, others say blue tac works well, but there doesn't seem to be a good solution to this yet.

Therefore I wanted to ask if anyone has more experience in this and if anyone has any suggestions.

Yes, I know that OCA exists, but I want to keep the repairs affordable. I have seen an item on eBay which is a LCD backlight sealant (some sort of glue which is put onto the sides of the LCD (http://www.ebay.de/itm/371221025033)) but I have not seen any reviews about it yet. I also tried using electircal tape, but liquids get underneath anyway. Maybe thin double sided sticky tape works? I have also heard people removing the backlight first, but how do you reattach it?

Also little sidenote: Does a LOCA glass replacement work on iPhone 6s too? It should, but since the 6s has 3D touch, this may be a problem.

I would be happy to hear from you guys!
