iPhone 6 Plus: Why isn't my iPhone Opening even if it says its charging?

Yesterday, my [#|Iphone] 6+ was working fine, I was able to play games and stuff. So I charge it and slept, I woke up at 4:00 am and saw that it wasn’t charge anymore and my mom is charging her phone. So I took my phone and saw the battery percentage was 3%, so I restarted my phone. When it restarted, it showed that the battery low battery. So I charged it, after a little while it opened but it only showed the background picture without the time and date and closed again saying that it is low battery. I went to school and charged my phone at home all day but when I came back home today and opened it it said that it was still charging. It took the charger off and it says again, it needs to be charge because its low battery. Is the charger the problem? because my mother also told me that last night her phone says its charging but the battery number don’t increase. I need an answer ASAP, please.

iPhone 6 Plus: iPhone 6 won't turn on after screen replacement

I broke my screen a few months back; I tried replacing it once but I got a dodgy screen from amazon so I returned it and left the phone open inside a box for a month or so before I got a new screen replacement. The phone has 0% battery at this point.

After I complete the repair and plug the phone in, I don't see anything on the screen and it doesn't show up in iTunes. I leave it charging overnight and in the morning, it still won't show up on iTunes or show any signs of life.

I've looked around for some solutions and found a few suggestions of taking out the battery connector, I did so and still no luck. Any other suggestions?

iPhone 6 Plus: Can't restore my iPhone but the apple logo shows up dim

Okay so when I plug in the phone, the screen is dark but you can faintly see the apple logo in the middle of the screen. It is as if the light in the screen was broken but you could see the apple logo. I used a different screen and I get the same problem. I try to connect it to iTunes but iTunes does not recognize the phone. So what I did was I tried restoring it in recovery mode. When I did this, the computer recognized the iPhone right away and said it needed an update and to restore it. However, once the "Extracting Software" tab is done filling up on iTunes, I guess it tries to automatically turn on the phone. The phone turns on but it turns on to the dim screen with the apple logo showing up faintly in the middle of the screen. iTunes then fails to recognize the phone because it says "iPhone could not be found."

What could be the problem?

iPhone 6 Plus: Speaker option greyed out, but mic and earpiece audio still work fine

I’ve been getting mixed information regarding the issue where my iPhone 6 Plus has no loudspeaker audio and the speaker option is greyed out (also, I cannot adjust the volume unless I have it connected to a bluetooth audio source or have my headphones plugged in). However, my mic appears to work as I’ve tested it via phone calls and the Skype test call, though whenever I try to use the Voice Memo program, it completely crashes it, and I still get audio through the earpiece and through external audio sources.

From what I’ve gathered in previous posts and on other forums is that it’s probably an audio IC issue that requires microsoldering. However, I’m a little confused since everything else audio related on my phone appears to be working fine and it’s not completely broken. Is a disabled loudspeaker the main symptom of a bad audio IC? Or is there a possibility that I just have a faulty loudspeaker, as this would be the difference between spending $100 for a new chip or $20 for a new loudspeaker.

I’ve already had my iPhone 6+ repaired for touch disease about a year ago and I recently had to replace a faulty vibration motor. When doing the repair, I saw that a lot of screws had become loose or dislodged. I’m not sure if this was because the repair shop I used just didn’t tighten their screws or if the vibration motor just shook everything loose, and was wondering if that could also have caused a problem.

iPhone 6 Plus: Replaced screen, damaged shield/backplate in the process. No TouchID.

Hello.

I repaired an iPhone 6 plus screen for a friend. I removed the home button successfully with no damage, however when I removed the heat shield/backplate I damaged the flex that has the home button socket on it. Bloody thing had some really strong adhesive on it and I had no isopropyl to hand.

I replaced the shield with a third party one I had lying around but no dice, TouchID just doesn’t work. No error, no notification, it just doesn’t read fingerprints. I’m certain the home button chip and cable is undamaged.

My question is: could this be the third party shield that I installed? That’s the only thing I can think of besides going back and checking all the connections which I’ve done already. I’m gonna explain the situation to my friend and if he wants me to I’ll go ahead and order an OEM shield and see if that works, but I figured I’d double check here before I do that.

Many thanks in advance for answers.

iPhone 6 Plus: Why won't my home button work

So I replaced my Screen due to breaking it, when I did this I lost my home button function. By this I mean not just the Touch ID but the function of the home button completely. Further adding to my issue, is the screen turns on and off as though I am touching the home button, leading to depleting the battery rapidly. I replaced the Home Button and the issue is not better, possibly worse.

Any suggestions?

iPhone 6 Plus: Phone won't turn on and computer will not detect it, but gets hot?

I'm completely new to this community and I'm in a bit of a sticky situation and need quick answers before my deadline, so any help would be appreciated!

Here's my situation:

My supervisor at work was having issues with her iPhone 6 Plus and after a long conversation I told her that I could attempt to fix it for her. She said she had it worked on before at a repair shop in the next town over, but didn't really say what she had done to it. This time around, she told me she wanted her LCD screen and her battery replaced, and I told her that I was comfortable doing it because I had done it plenty of times before with my iPhone 5 so it wouldn't be a problem. Little did I know of the problems that would arise.

So I opened the phone up and immediately noticed that she had screws missing, one on the battery plate and another screw missing on the connector cover plates. Before I did anything, I tried disconnecting the battery with a plastic spudger but for the life of me I couldn't get it to come off--the previous person must have forced it back on. I eventually got it off with much struggle. Next comes getting the connector plate unscrewed. The first thing I noticed once I got the plate off and the screws placed carefully aside, was that the LCD flex cable was only halfway connected where the previous person once again forced it on and ended up damaging the tiny connectors on the logic board, so the cable itself couldn't connect properly. Despite this, her LCD display was still working. The reason she wanted her screen replaced was because when she tried to swipe down from the top of the screen, it wouldn't detect it, only part of the time. It would also type by itself. I figured that was the result of her LCD cable being only partly connected.

Just to be totally sure, I ordered her a new screen and had it put on, and once again I could only get the left side of the LCD connector to go in while the right side was raised. I reconnected the battery to see if the screen would work, and now the entire phone refuses to come on or even be detected by iTunes! I'm confused as to why it would work for her with the LCD only partly connected but when it's partly connected for me, it won't turn on at all. It gets hot while connected to the charger though, and the halfway plugged in LCD cable gets REALLY hot so I decided to unplug it.

Now, I've heard of a few other reasons why I could be having problems with the screen. Apparently, sometimes when you replace a screen it's normal for the LCD display to not work, but that wouldn't explain why even iTunes won't detect it. I've also heard that if the flex cable for the home button is damaged then screen issues could also arise. There's a possibility that I could've damaged that when switching everything over from the old screen to the new one, but I can't test that out to see because the phone won't turn on.

So I have several issues I'm trying to figure out while my supervisor patiently waits to get her phone back. I'd hate to hand her back her phone when it won't even work because when she handed it to me, it was working fine aside from her touch screen. It's like I've just made it worse.

Just something to remember, I'm am amateur at this and I'm trying my best to learn--experience is the best way.

Sorry for the long overload of information, I just wanted to clear everything up and be as detailed as possible for you guys to have a good idea as to what's going on.

Thanks in advance!!

EDIT: I've sent the phone off for mail-in repair because I wanted a new PCF connector for the LCD display and that required soldering which I'm not even going to attempt to do, but what do I do if the phone still won't turn on even when the connector is fixed?
