iPhone 8 Plus: iPhone is disabled after new screen replacement and not updating too

originally iPhone 8 Plus was badly smashed. Both front screen glass and LCD were completing broken. After successful screen replacement, Phone went to disabled. Despite of connecting with iTune again and again it was not updating and sometime it was not connecting with iTunes initially. Than we had to restore and removing all data to make phone usable. Removing all data is really expensive and panic.

What could be reasons for not able to update ?

Why phone goes into disabled for only too much bad touch of old cracked screens?

How we can avoid that disable message after screen replacement or loosing entire phone data ?

See the attached actual image,

iPhone 8 Plus: I replaced the battery and charging port in my device (iPhone 8 plus)

I have replaced the charging port and the battery in the same repair, and it seems like it refuses to charge on lightning for more than a few minutes, and it has been on wireless charging for a pretty significant amount of time and all it shows me is the battery screen. any advice? were the parts I got(at least one of them) defective?

Something to note:

when plugging into a fast lightning charger my phone will vibrate while charging before stopping and it will not charge anymore.

Any advice would be appreciated, the repair was done correctly to my knowledge and I followed all the steps.

iPhone 8 Plus: After drop - cameras, proxi + ambi sensors not working; reboots random

Hi, so my friend just dropped his iPhone 8+ from 2 meters a few days ago. The only problem he saw was broken display.

So he changed the screen and the button next day and everything except touch ID seemed to be working fine.

We started testing the phone today and unfortunately came across a few problems - all 3 cameras are showing black screen, the flash, ambient and proximity sensors are not working at all, and also the phone reboots randomly (sometimes after 20 minutes, often after about 2 minutes).

He told me that the rebooting was not happening before he changed the screen but can't tell about the cameras and sensors next to it, because he didn't test it.

So my question is what could be the problem(s)?

Is there a chance the cameras and sensors are disabled by one repairable error?

Any ideas are welcome, thank you!

iPhone 8 Plus: Lost track of the screws + no power or charging

Hello,

A friend of mine dropped his phone and smashed the front and back of his iPhone 8 Plus. I thought I would give repairing it a try but I bumped the table and lost track of the screws. After 5 hours or so of carefully matching the screws, I thought I had done a pretty good job. Then I put the phone back together and I tried to turn it on. I saw the apple logo briefly and then the screen went off. I then tried to charge it but nothing happened. It doesn’t even appear to be pulling any power from the wall. Have I messed this up beyond repair?

Thanks

iPhone 8 Plus: Display touch stop working when home button flex is connected

Hi. So i recently opened my iPhone 8 Plus to replace my battery. Before I opened it up, the touch id was already not working and the home button was working intermittently but the 3d touch and normal display touch was working fine. However, after opening it up and reconnecting the flex cables, the touch only works if the home button flex cable is not attached. Once i attach the home button flex cable, the home button starts working but touch stops. I have to mention that the home button flex cable also seems very loose and I have to attach the metal bracket to keep it in place. What on earth is going on?

Ok so I was replacing a screen on an iPhone 8 Plus and I know the drill always know where the screws go so they go back in the correct place. But… I took a break while I had to go to work and while I was gone my nephew thought he could help with no experience at all. Not to mention that I believe some of my screws are missing. I’m already ordering a replacement set of all the screws that go in the phone but now I need a diagram breakdown of which screw go where with the size and position of all the screws. If there is anyone out there that has a link to such a diagram or even an appropriate YouTube video that goes into that much detail it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,

After smashing and replacing the screen on my iPhone 8 Plus, the mobile signal isn't working properly. 3G and 4G, different providers (all the same network though), different SIM cards, and a new antenna (wifi diversity) cable but still the problem persists. The SIM will work perfectly on an iPhone 5S. I've also done a FDU restore on my phone also.
I'll get signal back for some amount of time (a few minutes to a few weeks) if I turn the phone off then back on, put airplane mode on for a minute then off again, or even if I let it sit without a sim for a while, then put one in. After a while it'll switch between SOS only and No Service.
