iPhone 8 Plus: Error reading LCD data

I am trying to change LCD screen on my iPhone 8+ So i recently spend more than 100$ to buy the latest Qianli iCopy + 2.2 version. But unfortunately when i try to read data from my original and replacement LCD screen the quickly show "Reading Screen" less than fraction of a second and jumps back to the main menu. I then tried reading and writing it through the PC software (by copying the board number), but unfortunately got the following errors: " Data reading failure:

communication line/connection error or
Short circuit or disconnected"

Please see the attached image. However, the iPhone XR LCD reads just fine.

Have upgraded the device firmware. Also similiar problem with someone here:

iPhone 8 Plus: Black Screen after screen replacement?

I recently replaced the screen on an iPhone 8 plus. The first screen I replaced had lines through it, so I replaced the screen a second time and the phone screen is completely dead. I can hear sound through the speakers (that emergency buzz when you hold down the power and volume down) and the phone is receiving texts through an Apple watch but a completely black screen. Any help would be appreciated.

Customer put a iPhone 7 Plus LCD on a iPhone 8 Plus... Now iPhone 8 Plus only responds to iPhone 7 Plus LCD.... What could Be going on? Motherboard?

iPhone 8 Plus: iPhone 8 plus touch and freezing issues after screen replacement

I replaced the screen on an iPhone 8 plus with iOS 12.0 installed, a few days later the touch became intermittent, sometimes it works great sometimes and won’t respond. I updated to iOS 12.2 hoping to resolve the issue but the issue only got worse. screen sometimes would just freeze, I tab the messages app and it won’t respond after a few tabs now it works, screen is too sensitive, all apps could start to wiggle as if I touched and held an app longer that 3-4 second when in reality I barely touched it. I re-installed the original cracked screen and now it completely frozen, I installed a brand new screen and its still frozen. Please help!

Had a vindictive , psycho ex get hold of my phone and now, cannot do anything. Locked out…she changed the passcode and who knows what else. Does anyone know of a sure-fire way to bypass lockscreen so I can re-set everything? Tried a few “apps” I found from Googling, but so far …nada. Pretty good phone I’d hate to see go to waste.

I have replaced the backglass of an iPhone 8 plus. While removing the cracked glass I have accidently cut the outer rim of plastic/rubber with the razor. I was wondering if there is anyway to repair this or in someway hide the damage as well as possible.

Hey guys, recently I just replaced my iPhone screen and battery simultaneously. I put all together and it works great. However, I woke up the next morning to the phone completely dead. I thought it’d be a simple fix but my phone won’t reset, turn on, or anything. I’ve tried everything to figure out what the problem could be I disconnected the battery and put in the charger but the screen won’t turn on either so I took out the screen and installed my old broken screen with the charger and still nothing worked. I examined the connectors and everything on the phone but everything looked fine. I could really use some help here because I’m just in high school and can’t afford a new phone.

I just fixed an 8 plus screen, and then it literally fell off of the phone, ripped the cables clean off. I noticed that the top clips that used to slide the iphone 7 screens into the body are missing, and have been replaced with little metal brackets that don’t clip into anything… Is it just the waterproofing adhesive strip that holds this screen in? Also, on the 8, they switched the bottom screw clips from metal to plastic, so it’s no wonder this screen just fell off after a day. I guess I have to put the waterproofing adhesive on, but is there anything else that’s holding these screens together? https://blog.rewatechnology.com/wp-conte...

iPhone 8 Plus: Rear Camera Blurry After Back Glass Repair

Hi,

I sent a couple of iPhone 8 Plus phones off recently for back glass repairs and when I received them back I noticed that the cameras are now blurry and not able to focus. I’ve tried around 3 different cameras now and each one has a blurred image so it cannot be the actual camera. Any ideas?

After several years of abuse, the battery health was low and needed to be charged 2-3 times per day. At one point it would hardly take a charge and one morning simply did not turn on anymore. I got a new phone and forgot about it. Now i decided to get it working again, ordered a battery kit with the tools and screen seal etc. Replaced the battery nothing. No apple logo no « black screen » just nothing. Tried to connect to a computer and still nothing. Wireless charger got it charged just fine though. Using my new phone i was able to look at the pins in the port and one pin is out of place. Looked it up on google and it would be the power pin( 4th or 5th pin depending on how you look at it) this explains the connection trouble but could it be the reason why it doesn’t turn on? Any ideas?

iPhone 8 Plus: Phone battery draining FASTER after battery replacement.

I had my phone battery replaced today because for a while it had been draining fast and it said it was at 78% performance and I should have it serviced. Since I got it back, it says 100% peak performance, but the battery is draining faster than it ever used to. I was surfing the internet as usual, no videos playing no images, just reading on websites I frequently use, and I watched the battery go from 75 to 35 in one hour. This never happened before. Bluetooth off, WiFi on and connected, full brightness (as usual), and nothing out of the ordinary (also no other apps on). What’s going on?

I replaced the battery in my phone and get the picture below. I hooked my phone to iTunes and tried to do a restore. I got a error saying that this phone can't be restored because of unknown error. Could it be because I didn't have consumer cellular unlock the phone?

So last week I almost drill a 3.7mm screw straight through my 8 plus motherboard listening to the ifixit guide, luckily I thought twice about this and when to find another source, also on ifixit, this week I'm working on my 8 plus again and of course I got the screws mixed up last time, if anybody could make me a ACCURATE diagram of placement, nail head type and length of each screw in the xs max, i only need it for the housing but im sure the screen would hurt as referencefor other users reading this later, Please DONT refer me to I fixing guide, its wrong and will cause short circuits if followed!!!! ALSO, dear Ifixit, please fix this

iPhone 8 Plus: No sims on display

No sims is the display shown on screen.

Sims tray appears fine and not bent. Phone store tried several sims card and had the same display.

What else could it be?
