iPhone SE: Which repair guide goes 1st when replacing battery and charging port?

I have repaired other devices using these repair guides, and have reviewed both guides for the battery and charging port for my iPhone SE 1st Gen. I would just like to know which order would be best to start with and at which point would be best to switch to the other replacement. I am hoping that someone who has done more of these repairs would have the answer rather than me learning the hard way.

Thanks

iPhone SE: Is there a different footprint between iPhone NANDs?

I’m looking into upgrading the storage on two iPhones and want to know if there is a difference between the NAND flash memory chips. Namely the 6s and SE (gen 1).
iPhone SE: Sim Card Stuck Without Tray in iPhone SE?

I have an old iphone SE. I was switching between two sim cards with this phone. Then when i took out one sim card, i accidentally put the other sim card inside without the tray without thinking. Its now stuck inside and I cannot take it out. I have that pin where you press on it to eject but that doesn't work. I even have a tiny tweezer where I try to put it inside to pull it out and it doesn't work.

I do have super glue and saw a video of someone using it along with a credit card that is cut to get it out. Does that work? But doesn't that risk damage to the sim card?

What is the best way to take the sim card out? If not, local repair shop can do it or I need to go to apple store? How much would this cost? Does the apple genius bar fix this and if so how much? I read in old threads on reddit they did for free but that was years ago? But my phone is old and no warranty.

I do notice I can turn on my old iphone SE and use it without any issue via wifi but of course it doesn't read the sim correctly.

Anyone have advice on this? I'm extremely frustrated that I wasn't careful when switching the sim cards.

iPhone SE: iPhone powers up in DFU but won't charge even after restore

iPhone SE has started to shut down after charging to 100% then unplugging the Apple cable. Sometimes when it reboots it shows low charge %, sometimes it is high.

Thinking it was a software issue, I upgraded to the newest version connected to a Mac and now it won't charge at all.

I got it into DFU mode, iTunes recognized and restored it, but after it rebooted it still just sits on the lowest red battery icon.

The last time I could check, the battery capacity showed around 75%, but it seems like a failing battery not just depleted one?

The newer versions of software were rumored to cause power drain issues.

Could they have caused charging issues as well?

iPhone SE: SE Battery Ribbon cable pulled a small wire loose

I have used ifixit battery replacement before with great results. My SE disassembly went well. Upon installing the new battery I noticed a very small wire that may have come loose when the ribbon battery cable and adhesive strips were being taken out. Its to the left of the battery along side battery ribbon cable. I’m concerned it might be a speaker wire or? Can you give an idea what is and if its a speaker wire? It is very small and look like it needs to be connected.

Hello,

My iphone SE works fine, except, the headphone port. I looked inside, it seems that the metal balls and the covering around it is....worn out, or damaged, or stuck in. I tried fiddling with it and cleaning also, buti think i just made it worse. dont want to replace the whole flex assembly for personal sercurity reasons. (i dont want any third party/used microphone or lightning port microcontroller.)

Why would they engineer it like that anyway? geez. each unit should have separate connectors.

anyway....my question is, can i cut the flex cable and take the jack from an iphone 5s and microsolder it on my SE to replace it?

iPhone SE: What really causes error code 9, AND an endless power-on loop?

It’s been a while since I posted a question. Here is the latest on my iPhone SE (2016 version).

I actually did have a display, and for a short time, the touchscreen worked!! Oops…I guess it didn’t work.

On the passcode screen, the words “Emergency” and “Cancel” were underlined. I have no idea why. All I know is, I entered the passcode, and my phone said, “Press Home Button To Recover” (something like that)…but my home button wasn’t working, so my phone went back to this endless Apple logo going on and off . I have tried using iTunes to recover it. I got error code 9. I tried pressing the power & home buttons at the same time and then pressing the volume up button until it becomes obvious that nothing is going to change. I think the logic board just needs all new FPC connectors. Would that bring my phone back to life??

I thank you for your help!! Stay safe!!
