iPhone XS Max: iPhone XS Max overheating often housing change

The back glass of my iPhone shattered because of a drop. I got a new housing assembly installed. Logic board, camera, battery, Taptic Engine, main speaker and the screen were from my iPhone. The rest were part of the housing: charging port, wireless charging coil, antennas and other smaller components. Unfortunately, my phone heats up under the camera even while performing basic functions like an online class or Instagram. The phone doesn’t heat during standby and charging. It heats up a lot when I’m using the cellular data. Can anyone point out which component could cause this problem? Moreover is it because I replaced my silver iPhone with a black housing?

iPhone XS Max: iPhone stuck in boot loop?

Okay so this morning my phone was working properly, I woke up, set another alarm, then went back to bed. When I woke up (late bc my alarm never went off) my phone was stuck on the spinning circle that appears when your phone dies. I figured it was dead and plugged it in. After a while it didn’t go away, so I force restarted it. This got rid of the circle, but now my phones stuck in a boot loop. I tried to force restart it multiple times, and it just goes back into the boot loop. I put it in recovery mode and connected it to my laptop but it just went back in the loop. It never came into contact with water or got damaged in any was as I was literally asleep. What do I do?

iPhone XS Max: XS Max Screen not responsive when typing fast and No faceid

Hi everyone.

I bought my dad an iPhone XS Max a couple of months back from the used market. When typing fast, the screen does not respond very well. I have an iPhone X and the typing and touching response of the XS Max has really been different compared to the X. I attached a video so you guys can see. I’m not sure if the screen has been replaced

Also, the face ID is not working but I did the test where I got in a dark room and pointed a flashlight in the front camera part and enabled auto-brightness. Auto brightness works but not the face ID. software is updated to the latest version of iOS.

Do I need to replace the screen? or are there other diagnoses for the problem? Can I get these (screen response and face id) to work normally again?

Sample Video of the iPhone screen response problem: https://youtu.be/UAqh_s3D-Hs

iPhone XS Max: iPhone XS Max only shows red battery charging indicator for a second

I have an iPhone XS Max that died mysteriously a couple of months ago. I had everything synced in iCloud so I’m not worried about the data, but I’d like to get the phone working again if it’s practical.

I spent a lot of time in the pool in the couple of months before it died, so it may be water related. It never fell in or was submerged, but there was a lot of handling it with wet hands. I thought it was waterproof but…

One day it just died. Black screen, no response. At first when I would plug it into my Mac the computer would see it, but then that stopped too.

After a month or so of sitting on my desk I noticed that some odd shiny copper-colored marks appeared at the edges of the screen, like an internal layer is delaminating:

Weirdly, if it sits on my desk for a week or sun until the battery is thoroughly dead and then I put it on the wireless charger, it lights up with the red “battery too low to turn the phone on” icon. This stays on for a few minutes, then it goes totally dead again.

What could be causing this, and how can I fix it?

Edit: I received an automated email suggesting I improve my question to help the community solve my problem.

1) Explain the troubleshooting steps that you have already tried. The more thorough your explanation, the more likely you are to get a helpful response.

Other than charging it, letting the battery die, and charging again (wired and wireless), there’s not much I can do. I’ve tried holding the side buttons to force a shutdown, and restart, but that has no effect. I would love suggestions to try.

''2) Improve your formatting and grammar. Use wikitext to format your question, especially for lists. You can learn more here: Wiki Formatting And Syntax''

I don’t think there’s an issue here.

3) Add a photo. A picture's worth a thousand words, and can help explain what's going on.

There’s not much to see other than the small marks under the glass that are already pictured. I can’t get the iPhone to show the red battery indicator at the moment, but it looks like this:

I’m not sure how to improve this question. I would welcome any suggestions. Thanks.

iPhone XS Max: White Green Screen screen with bars issue in iPhone XS Max

Dear community,

I am having issues with my iPhone XS Max, it all started one day when charging my phone the screen started acting randomly with some green colors in the screen then turning all white so what I did was to disconnect it then turn it off and after an hour so I turned it on again and it was working correctly. Days go by and the problem happened again but this time it was permanently. I have attached some pictures because it is really hard to describe but this problem happens like within 3 seconds and it ends up with black screen. This always happens like for example if I press the power button or even just pressing at the screen so it lights on. The touch itself works because even though I cannot see anything I am able to put my pin code and it turns on correctly i can use it like mirror to an apple tv then I can see the phone. I checked one video there could be software issue or even hardware that came with the phone. However I no longer have guarantee
