I’ve tried searching online for this issue but results bring up nothing like this issue. Is the screen just on its way out? Thanks for any replies ❤️

iPod Nano 7th Generation: screen looks weird like its been exposed to extreme heat or something

i have no idea how this happened, as i have only had this ipod nano for around 2 months and it looks like its melted or something and its extremely fuzzy

yes, that yellowish bit on the right is actually on the screen and not background light

charges fine, no touchscreen issues, nothing really other than the screen looking fuzzy and yellow in that one corner.

iPod Nano 7th Generation: New battery not charging

Hi all!

Have an Ipod Nano 7th Gen that was immediately dying upon removing it from power so I opened it up and soldered in a new battery. Now it no longer turns off when disconnected from power but it also doesn’t charge to 100%. I left it in for several hours on multiple chargers and it always shows around 1/4 charge or less. Any ideas? Could the replacement battery be bad? Did I not solder in the 3rd lead properly (assuming that one might be for battery status).

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. These are still good MP3 players in 2021 but little to no help or support from Apple.

iPod Nano 7th Generation: iPod doesn't turn on

I have an iPod Nano 7g and it doesn't turn on. Just a black screen. I have tried the home/sleep button + home button but that doesn't work. I have tried to turn it on. Nothing. I have left it charging for many many hours. Nothing. I have tried the recovery mode and iTunes method. Nothing. I have tried other cables and charger.

The iPod has not been dropped and no signs of physical damage. I guess the battery is dead and needs to be replaced.
