I have recently acquired a second hand tab 2 almost for free because the former owner broke the glass and screwed up things when trying to replace it. He suucesfully removed the broken glass and installed the new one but when trying to reconnect the flat cable of the touch sensor to the mainboard, he broke the connector in the mainboard. Now all that remains are the metal pins but the plastic case and grip of the connector is gone. It would be an easy fix... only if i could get a new connector.
It is connector for flat cable of 80 pins in 2 rows with a pitch of 0.5mm and locking latch in the back side but I can't locate it anywhere. If I knew some reference number or id it would be easier.
Anybody knows the reference of that connector, knows where to find it or even better where to buy it?
Many thanks
