Long top-middle-left screw stuck halfway when reassembling

I tried to replace the hard drive in my MBP. Everything went fine until the moment when I had to reassemble the thing. All screws went in fine, except the last one, which was located in top middle to the left, the long one. It will stop screwing in like halfway, applying force is useless and also very dangerous IMO. I tried different patterns and screws - they will never go in that hole.
Any advice?
