What can be done to improve this laptop

I have a PowerBook G4 15"

* CPU Type    Power PC G 4 ( 1.1 )
** Number of cpu         1
** CPU Speed 1.5 GHz
** L2 cach (per CPU)        512
* Memory 512 = 2 X 256   Type  DDR SDRAM
* Bus speed 167 MHz
* Boot Rom Ver 4.8.610

I would like to use this laptop around my church  so what improvements can I make to this laptop.

I know I can go to 2 gigs of memory and the updater says that my software is upto date.  The battery is still good and hold a charge for a couple of days.  The 10. 3 is not allowing to operate some of the churches software,

So bottom line what can I do to improve this laptop?
