The problem appears to be isolated to specific hardware versions of phone. This is obviously apparent as Apple has "flagged" specific serial numbers of phone as requiring exchange. My phone was one of the units on the flagged list, but because it is one week past warranty, they want me to pay $350 for a swap as they insisted my logic board was bad! I don't think so, it worked FLAWLESSLY for 1 year on iOS10, only at iOS11 did it "break". My iphone7 obviously still works, but hangs when changing between icons/apps and gets stuck in boot loops for hours prior to breaking free and operating again. That being said, I believe the gentleman who made this post is on to something BIG.

Can any of you phone repair techs out there confirm this statement and know if versions of the iphone7 also use the N71AP chip???:
"My assumption is that iOS 11 doesn't work properly on iPhone 6s with Samsung chip N71AP.
Because there is also another iPhone 6s in my family. That iPhone 6s has TSMC chip (N71MAP). That iPhone 6s has TSMC chip (N71MAP). And that iPhone has no issues with iOS11 at all.
The issue occurs exactly when I open/close different folders. Not in any particular app but exactly in iOS itself when I try to interact with folders on screens.
