What is this connector used for?

I am replacing an cracked display on my sons Xiaomi Mi A2 lite

So far everthing worked well.[br]

After removing the mainboard the connector remained on an display back site.

Not sure how to remove, and not included in new display (neither with, or without frame on backsite). Did somebody encountered same and found an solution?[br]
