Most times, it is only one screw on the bottom of the laptop and the DVD/CD drive can be pulled out.

Lay the laptop down on its backside to expose the bottom case. There should be a screw with a symbol next to it that looks similar to a CD or DVD or disc. Remove this screw and the DVD drive should come out easily.
